I saw this thread and I was like; "OMAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!"
I scared my cat off. Whoops?
Did you guys hear about the newly revealed Pokemon? http://pokemonblackandwhite.net/?p=10737 Ninfia, The newest Eevee Evolution. There's a big debate going on over on pokemonblackandwhite.net about what type it'll be. A few are sayin' its gonna be a brand new type, while others are stickin' to the known types. What do you all think? (I think It'll be either a poison or flying type.)

*gasp* I want... that Ninfia!~ >:^O
I'm an Eevee lover since Blue~ XP
I turned that Eevee into a Vaporeon
for helping my main Venasaur and it
helped lots, since them, anything that
come from Eevee(evolve what), is like
divine to me~ <333
I vote for Fly-type on that one~ XD
That or the "Light-type", since my bf
said he heard people THINKING they
will be Light-type, but it's from people,
not actual source~ =P

Ninfia's really adorable and it says good things about the generation to come having good designs for new pokemon, but I don't know, something seems off about it to me? Especially in comparison to, well, all the other Eevee evolutions. It doesn't 'fit in' as well as the rest of them do with the group.

I just saw Ninfia on my facebook feed. Followed by an abrupt "no." lol
I would prefer if Pokemon DID NOT break any lines that previous Pokemon games ride on (ie keeping types they way they are by not introducing new ones).
I might be a stickler by saying I don't like change, but frankly, Pokemon isn't getting any better by skimping out on ideas that make it go far away from it's origins...
Well Gen II already introduced new types, so it wouldn't be a complete break in tradition from an overall standpoint, but I get what you mean. Adding a new type would also add a lot of new things that might not be entirely necessary. But at the same time, they can't just keep making the same game over and over -- they've been doing that for a while, and with BW/BW2 they made a clear break from the formula. I'm looking forward to seeing all the new features they'll be adding with the 3D format, and old features they'll be improving on. After seeing Ninfia and the starters, I'm more excited to see the rest of the new pokemon.

Some of my friends think Ninfia could be a flying type, and I'm inclined to agree with them. Either that or a dragon-type, since it kind of reminds me of Gorebyss and Milotic, which, while not dragons, are very much sea serpents and draconic in their way. Either way, I loved it until I mentally recolored the eyes and realized just how much it looked like Kyuubey. XD

If I didn't know any better, Ninfia may as well be that normal-type filler pokemon that entices girls, like Jigglypuff, Chancey, Audino, Skitty, etc.

According to Bulbapedia, Ninfia's english name is going to be Sylveon. Sounds very airy to me.

Female then, Sylvie, after my Step-Mother, a

sometime when I was younger~ <3
