"I'm Josi, Nice to meet you." She said to Adam, watching the dog. He seemed nice, but she knew that dogs could be evil little things. "Should we get started?" Josi asked no one in particular.

Amber gathered up her necessary supplies, packing them up into the bags that she had put onto Winter "All I could get from the locals is that there are old spirits down there that, if we disturb them, will be very angry. I'm superstitious but this is a long undiscovered find so we have to go down there to find out. I have extra water and food in the saddle packs, if anyone runs out. and don't forget the filter masks, who knows what kind of disease is down there."

"Well, did anyone have a chance to ask the locals if we need to be bringing gifts to these spirits?" Adam asked. He was a very spiritual person and didn't want to upset anyone whose souls were remaining. "Food, water, sacrificial animals, anything?" The filter mask was a good idea. He opened his bag, double checking to see if he had one.

"No sacrificial animals. That is a big no. But..." She rummaged through her bag, digging out a list "An old healer sent me with this. its an old prayer to say when we open up the entrance, and it also says bring blessed thistle, ancient maize, star of anise, lily petals, and I believe it says Buddha's Hand... I have everything we need but I can't read the rest of it... so I may be missing some things..."

Adam's brows furrowed.
"Look, I know I am not the only one itching to get down there but maybe before we rush into the unknown, we should get more information on that note you have there. It would certainly make everything safer for the spirits and ourselves, too."

"I completely agree with you on that. One question... Did anyone bring any kind of feathers? Cause I got one word out of the translated bit and it says feathers... Maybe that holds meaning to whomever lays below the earth..."

Winter trots over to Adam and begins nibbling on his hair, whickering softly and tossing her head a bit. She swished her tail and continued trying to eat his hair, waiting for his reaction.

"Oh, yes actually! My bag has a few feathers on the zipper!" Josi said, looking down at her pouch, taking the bluejay feathers off the zipper,"Are these good?" She asked, handing them to Amber, making sure they don't blow away.

Amber nodded, gently tucking them into the pouch that held everything else "These are perfect. Remind me to find the charm I brought with, to replace the feathers... We have the star anise, ancient maize, Buddha's hand, feathers... But what else is on this list... I don't want to go in there without everything we need, cause I really don't wish to upset the locals, or whatever spirits may lay down there..."

"What else do we need?" Josi asked Amber, listening to the list,"Pegasus hair?" She asked, joking with Amber, hearing that everything on the list was weird.


(She doesn't thing there is Pegasus hair, she was joking just in case you though that.)

She chuckles and shakes her head "Here, I'm going to translate everything as best I can. Can you double check everything as I read it? I would much rather be safe rather than sorry."
