Well, not a demon. He just has something called Dissociative identity disorder. One side of him is a side that cares for his family and brother. The other side is something that only wants to kill. During his life, the darker side takes over, and urges the body to listen to the darker side of his personality. However, this is just a psychopathic personality, not a demon. Sure it acts like a demon, but it doesn't have any "mystical powers" or anything like that. It can be blinded like anything else. Perfume in the eye may not sting like it would anyone else, but it will still blind him.
