Another question-
Instead of Thalaj being colored could she have a sort of power that allows her to give some color back to things she touches? The color wouldn't last long after she has touched it so...

I have to say no. It would defeat the purpose of the whole color lost world. Even for a short time, it would take humans only a little time to find out how to keep it there :/

Then can she have some other sort of color? Like could she be able to touch say a lithe buld and make it light in color only while she is touching it?

From the colors they currently have, no. Even if they had different colors, it would be a mix or one of the two :P
