Depends on what you think fits you the best! Every dragon god have their own believes and personality, the element you choose also determines the eye color of the dragons who hatched in your nest! :3

Hmmm... Elements also affects what your dragons is strong against and weak against in battles. I wish I can show you the charts, but the site is so slow. >_<

Surprisingly the site is being really fast for me now I joined the wind clan! My starter pet is awesome but I hate her mate xD

You should get an item in your hoard that could help you hatch your egg immediately, check your hoard. Unfortunately, there is so many players that abusing this free newbie item (by creating new accounts and sending the item to their main account) that the item has been stop given to new players. But check your hoard nonetheless.
The eggs will hatch for about 5 days I think, you have to tend to the eggs everyday so it won't rot. OuO
