Cherry tags: Ebonypaw



"That'd be nice.", Cherry meowed. "I accept your offer. I just hope my kits are okay....". She winced, feeling more pain in her paw.



Fern and Fall tags: Sage


Fern turned to look at the she-cat. Her eyes widened, slightly frightened. Her scent was unfamiliar. "Oh, we're aren't alone. Our mother went out to hunt." Fern meowed. "She hasn't came back though...". Fern was worried, what if their mom had been hurt, or even worse...?

She shook off the thought. She turned towards her brother, Fall, who had backed away from the mysterious she-cat. "W-who's that?!", he hissed, obviously scared.

"Relax Fall, it's alright.", Fern tried to reassure her brother. But, he was right. Who was this stranger?

"I f-forgot to ask," Fern said, turning towards the she-cat, "what's your name?"

Ebonypaw- Tags: Cheery

"Lean your weight on me, not your paw. I'm strong enough that it won't hurt me." She purred as she started to walk forward some. "I'm Ebonypaw by the way. And you are?"

Sage- Tags: Fern & Fall

"Oh..." She said looking the two kits over. "I haven't seen your mother, sorry. Names Sage kid." She spat looking around suddenly. "Look it's not safe for a kit to be out here on their own, why don't you come with me until we find your mother? There's a fox roaming these woods...."

Cherry tags: Ebonypaw


Cherry leaned on Ebonypaw, making the pain in her paw ease. "I'm Cherry. Nice to meet you Ebonypaw." They began to walk. "Thanks for helping me out of that sink hole by the way."



Fern and Fall tags: Sage


Fall jumped back in surprise. "A fox?! But, what if our mom comes back?"

"Yeah what if our mom comes back? We can't leave.", Fern meowed in agreement. "We need to stay. Even if there is a fox."

Ebonypaw- Tags: Cherry

"Your most welcome." She purred looking up. "Dawnleaf! Come quick, I've found an injured cat!" She yowled to the tom causing him to jump.

Dawnleaf- Tags: Cherry

He jumps at the sound of the cats voice. 'It's only Ebonypaw...' He told himself. "Bring them here then, I don't know this lake well enough to find you." He said taking a step forward.

"Hang on we will be there in a second." Ebonypaw said before looking at Cherry. "That's Dawnleaf, he's our medicine cat back in the clan. He's one of the best for an apprentice."



Sage- Tags: Fern & Fall

"Your quiet brave for wanting to take on a fox like that but truth be told I don't think your mothers coming back. With a fox around anyone is game." The she cat said with a sigh. "I may not be your mother but I can find food for you just as well, and I can protect you if you want. At least until we find your mom, dead or alive. We can decide from there."

Cherry tags: Ebonypaw and Dawnleaf

"Medicine Cat?", Cherry meowed. "So he tends to other cat's injuries?"



Fern and Fall tags: Sage


Fall stared in disbelief, "O-our mom has to be alive!! She's strong. She couldn't have..."

Fern nuzzled her brother, "Hey, it's okay. Our mom isn't dead. At least, I think so."

That was a half-lie. She didn't know if their mom was dead or alive, she just said it to make her brother calm down. Sage was right: With a fox around, anyone is game. And that included their mother. She didn't know whether or not to trust Sage, but, if she did, she'd be leaving her mother behind. Then again, if her mother was dead, she had no choice but to trust Sage and accept her offer.

Fern sighed, "If it's for the best, then, yes, we will go with you. We'll go someplace safe."

"What?!", Fall hissed. "But you said-"

"Well, sometimes I don't mean half the stuff I say.", Fern said coldly. "I don't know if she is alive or not. Admit it Fall, you don't know either."

Fall made no comment.

"Exactly.", Fern meowed. "Alright Sage, let's go before the fox finds us."

Ebonypaw- Tags: Cherry

"Yes, but normally just cats from our clan. He can make exceptions though." The she cat said tapping. Dawnleaf's shoulder with her tail.

Dawnleaf- Tags: Cherry

"Thank you Ebonypaw. So new comer, what seems to be the problem? By the way your footsteps fall I would say you have hurt one of your paws, is this correct?"

Sage: Fern & Fall

"Let's get going then. There's a lake not far from here, we can start the search there." The she cat said starting to walk away. "I promise that I won't let anything happen to you, that my life goes to protecting the both of you until we find your mother."

Cherry tags: Dawnleaf


"Yes, I fell down a sink hole and I hurt my paw.", Cherry meowed. The pain in her paw eased, but it stung a little bit.



Fern and Fall tags: Sage


Fern started to follow Sage, but stopped when she noticed Fall didn't move from his spot.

"Fall, come on!! We have to go!", Fern meowed.

"I'm not going anywhere.", Fall hissed, turning away from Fern.

"Yes you are. It's too dangerous to be here Fall. There is a fox nearby and I don't wanna see you get hurt!", Fern said, fur bristling.

"Too bad. I'm staying.", Fall meowed.

"For what?!", Fern hissed.

"Just in case if Mom comes back."

Fern sighed. There was no use talking sense to her brother. If he was going to stay behind, that was perfectly fine to Fern.

"Fine, stay behind then.", Fern hissed, as she walked away. She stopped to look back at Fall. He was curled up into a little ball.

"Fall, please.", Fern meowed, nudging her brother.

There was a long silence before Fall got up and said, "Ugh, fine I'll go. But, only because I don't like being alone."

Happy that her brother finally came to his senses, Fern followed Sage, Fall walking closely behind her.

Dawnleaf- Tags: Cherry

"I see, that sink hole is a problem yes." He said touching her paw. "Your paw is a bit bruised but that's all, you should be alright though after a few days."

Sage- Tags: Fern and Fall

"Come on then let's get to that lake before that fox finds us, alright?" She purred starting to jog towards the lake.

Silentstream tags: Snowpelt
Sighing she looked aroun noticing lonely Snowpelt "Hello Snowpelt, do you want to go hunt or patrol the borders with me?" the deputy asked.



Falconkit tags: Willowkit
Flicking his ears, listeninf as the other kit sneezed "You're sick, we need to go Dawnleaf" he meowed looking around the medicine cat.

Snowpelt-

The Turkish Van nodded with delight, not noticing the dirt on her nose

Willowkit-

"Im fine" she meowed annoyed as she continued sneezing rapidly
