He watched unhappily as the fish thing was taken away to who knows where. He had lost another one. Who was next? Then he realized he was the third one here. He was next.

Razor had a funny feeling they weren't killed, the furless smelled of chemicals and animals, not death.

The featherless took her to a glass cage with nothing in it. Then she looked up and saw, a nest and water. He stuck her in there and locked the cage before running off. This cage had a clear, bluish wall instead of bars. She looked around at the empty cages and realized they were for her friends.

Frost yelped and bit at the pinching thing. It's shell was slippery and she wasn't able to hang on. She staggered back into the cave her legs not working well. She yawned but continued to fight sleep. She sat down heavily and began panting

"Don't give up pearl wolf!" He howled. He then howled the jumble of notes she howled hoping it would help.

"Someone do something! We can't all just sit here waiting for them to take us one by one and kill us! That's what happens when you go to the butcher, let's not be the sheep that we are!" Molly baaed head butting her cage in an attempt to get free. "Come on guys!"

What happened? He was only out for a minute, yet he felt like he hadn't slept at all. He was back in a cage, but not the one he was in before, and now he was in along of pain. Meko looked up from where he lay on the cold concrete. Everything seemed alright. Slowly he lefted his head to look around. He lefted himself up though something different. The ground was further away now and he had spotted paws instead of his flippers. Was this a dream? His mind felt dizzy as he looked down at his new legs. (Changing it to where he has front and back legs from a cheetah...cruel seeing how cats hate water and cheetahs can run fast.) slowly he raised a single foot and took a shaking step. It felt weird to be able to walk though at the same time it was cool to see what it was like.

The boy looked over the cheetah-seal and gave him something for the pain. He then lifted it up and set it down on the ground, attaching a collar and a leash and giving a gentle tug.

Frost howled along. At first she began to grow quieter and quieter but after awhile her song became more sure and strong she lifter her body off the ground "let's be free!" She howled before hurling herself at the stalagmites once more

"Not yet," he called quietly to her,"But someday, we will be free, I promise."

Slowly Meko put one foot in front of the other and followed the human. "Why are you doing this to us?" He asked though the human seemed not to understand. Meko took the leash in his mouth and pulled on it. "Why are you doing this!" He barked.

Frost nodded and lay down curling her tail around her. She kept her muscles tense though incase another pale creature came in with long fur for her to bite

Blaze Watched with tired eyes as chaos unfolded around her. She licked her paw tiredly and pretended to ignore the other's conversations. She had heard what the bear had said but had deliberately ignored him, despite his being wrong. She was friends with a bear, or at least she had been, and the bear she knew was gentle and kind hearted, if a bit protective of her cubs. She would of told this all to the slobbering beast, but she didn't want to talk to that monster.
