"What is is my children? You all looked troubled." Sirius said in a booming voice. "And where is Sky? You are a band with out one of you members, why is that?"

Rigil looked up at Sirius. "Sky is in the infirmary, the Mountain birds they attacked us while we were training. She got injured in the fight." He said trying not to show his fear. "I carried her here while Feather and Shimmer scared away the Black Birds."

Sirius was silent for a moment. "Is it true girls? Did you scare off the Mountain Birds?"

"Yes, sir," she replied, memories of the battle flashing through her mind.

Shimmer nodded slightly. Sirius sighed and looked to Capella. "I knew I should have told them sooner.." He said to her as she comforted him.

"Told us what?" Rigil asked confused.

"I should explain myself." Sirius said gliding down to them. "You are my childern, all of you. Some closer than others for my other children have had you. Shimmer you are my great-great-great granddaughter, Feather you're my great-granddaughter, and Sky is my granddaughter. Rigil you are my youngest son."

"So we're... related?" she said surprised.

"Yes all of you are related, related to me." Sirius said.

Rigil felt his wings droop. "I'm your son?"

"Why do you look so sad?" she asked Rigil. Then she turned to Sirius,"Why didn't you tell us?"

Jewel peeked into the room, she had been eavesdropping for a little bit and had heard such interesting things. They got ambushed and fought of the black birds! Cool! she thought excitedly. Jewel had begun her training a while ago but hadn't really been in any real fights and she was itching to kick some enemy feathers. She tried to get a closer look but her sharp claws slipped and made a loud scratching noise i'm gonna get roasted alive! she thought as she squealed in surprise and tried to balance herself by flapping her wings, creating a loud rustling and fluttering noise combo as she tried to take cover in the shadows.

Sirius looked up then returned to his children. "I'm sorry, I know I should have told you but I wanted to keep it a secret from you and whom ever may over hear. It's not safe to be my childern. Many of the black birds want me dead and they know that if there are any of my childern left then the line will continue. That's why you all must train as fighters."

Capella shot into the shadows before anyone could relize she was gone. She came back into the light holding Jewel. "What are you doing here?" She demanded

"Ack!" Jewel squawked flapping her wings furiously "sorry I... Just thought it was cool that you were all related without knowing it, I'm sorry." She said then flung her wing into Capella's face and she twisted out of her talons rubbing where she had been grabbed.

The blue aurleons wings were failing. How much longer, she thought. My name is breeze, but I feel like a rock!
The red and brown aurleon, Ajax, was thinking the same thing. How much longer would they fly over this seemingly endless ocean? Then in the distance, he saw just what he hoped for. "LAND HOOOO!" Ajax screamed in triumph. The two aurloens perked up and rode the wind towards the great tree. "Come on Ajax! We're almost there!" Breeze said in encouragement. Soon, the Aurleons' talons touched the ground for the first time in three days. "Where should we go now, Ajax?" Breeze asked her friend, panting. "I wish I knew," Ajax told her as the two gazed upon there tree they heard of only in legends.
