Why does snow melt?

Yes! Someone knew! I can answer your question then.

Snow melts because of what snow is. Snow is a slightly frozen form of water(Or rain), it's molecules more compound than water but not quite as packed as ice. As snow is frozen, (Such is the deal with pretty much every frozen object) when objected to high temperatures, then it will begin to melt, turning back into water.
