Midnight jumped the other fence and continued along the past, forced to keep to the lower track.

"I guess so." She said, smiling back, "i do wish i could beat them, if not a little bit"

Alhena could see the city gates ahead, that meant the race was theirs! Camel was panting and he seemed to be getting a bit tired though he managed to keep up the pace. "Just a bit further!" Alhena shouted as the trail began to drop. She was ahead of Seth, that meant she could win! That was if there wasn't a line of armed guards waiting for them in the middle of the road. Camel slid to a stop right before hitting the guards. He reared up in fright and landed with a light thus on the ground. Alhena lowered her hooded head to keep her face from sight.

One of the guards stepped forward. "Well, well, well I guess we have our work cut out for us boys, the first guest of the day and it turns out to be a fine young girl. What's you say we take her into the city and "show her around"?" The rest of the guards laugh. Alhena bares her teeth and clenches her fist. It was so hard not to just kill them all now, but that would put the mission in danger. She waited to speak until the others got there.

Shadir nodded. "Think of it this way though. If there is trouble they will be the first to know it and we will have the element of surprise." The gates grew larger as they approached. There was a whole line of guards blocking their path though. "Looks like they knew we were comeing, don't kill anyone unless we have to, alright?"

When Seth arived he and Midinght jumped right over the line of guards. "Touch her and it will be the end of all of you." He threatened, his charcoal black hood already pulled up, (did they have the colours back then or was it just black do you think?)

(Their hoods were all white with the blood red sash. They had to look like scholars to get around, and the Templara were white with a Red Cross in front.)

The guards turned. "Did you just threaten me? How dare you! Under order of the king I here by arrest you!" The guard that was standing in front turned allowing Alhena to land a throwing knife right in the middle of his back. She had hardly moved, which confused the guards as to what direction the knife had come from.

"Or I guess we can just go up and kill every guard we see." Shadir rolled his eyes. "Come on then let's make sure they aren't in too big of trouble." He slowed his horse to a trot allowing Mozar to catch up. He swooped down and took his boot from the morkko and put it back on before making his way to the guards.

(Figured something like that.)

Seth jumped down from his horse.
"Honestly i don't want a fight, but if you insist, Adam, Eve hide, Midnight attack." Unlike most horses Midnight was trained to fight anyone his master told him.

Gabriel hung back, she was not good with close quarters.

Alhena stood up in her saddle and drew her sword before dropping to the ground. Anger had over taken her cause long her judgment to be clouded. She hacked at the cowardly guards, cutting them down before they could even move for their swords. The head guard though intervened, grabbing her by the front of her cloak and throwing her to the side. Alhena tried to stand but found the man I top of her with his hands about her neck. Her vision blackened as he squeezed the life from her. Little did he recall though that she had Claradon to protect her in case of trouble. The vulynx leaped from the horse and onto the man where he bit into the guards neck snapping it between his powerful jaws. The man gasped for breath as blood slowly trickled from his mouth before he twitched and lay still. Claradon dropped the body and lay at Alhena's side as she fought for breath.

Shadir slid from his horses saddle. He kept to the outsides of the fight killing those that tried to escape. Mizar got excited at the sounds of a fight and helped his master as Canis held them for the morkko to maul. The guards were better off inside the ring of the fight, though they still thought they could escape. The fight was won before it even started.

Seth signaled for his animals to return to normal. The battle had ended as quickly as it had started.

Gabriel movee back in heading for the others

Alhena coughed from where she sat on the ground. Claradon was beside her purring as he licked his claws clean of blood. She a very with her self more than ever now. How could she have let something like this happen?! She could have died and it was her won fault! Camel walked up to her and nudged her. Even in the darkest of time the horse still managed to find her.

Shadir marveled over their handy work. Canis has rejoined him at his side while Mizar stole the boots of the dead and piled them up. "And here I thought we could not work as a team! Ha showed those ******s!" He smiled a bit and counted how many assassins they had left. "Where's Violet?"

She rode up and tapped Shadir on the back. "Here."

Shadir sighed. "Good lets get a move. Don't want to get any more bodies in this pile." He took the halter of his horse and started to led it to the stables.

There came a clapping from with in the gathering crowed. "That's quite a show my friends." Saqr stepped forward followed by Arnad whom went to the bodies and began to loot them. Shabh followed Saqr closely leery of the new comers. "Where are you guys from?"

Alhena glared at the new man as she got to her feet a bruise beginning to form on her neck. "Who the hell are you?"
