really? I saw book of the circus. The boat arc as in "titanic"? Because I really love that Lizzie stepped up and became an awesome swordfighter :P

/too lazy to have a list, but I do have a somewhat-semi-updated anime-planet list

I've been looking for animes to watch, but I'm extremeeeeely picky when it comes to my tastes. (My list doesn't reflect it lol, my genres are all over the place)

I'm looking over the stuff mentioned here and hopefully I'll give some animes a try. I'm not really into mainstream stuff though, for some reason.

Even though I think we have very different tastes in anime, I'll give a few recommendations based on your list. xD

Sports:
Ookiku Furikabutte
Haikyuu -- I haven't seen this, but feels like your type of show.

My best guesses at what you would like other than the sports anime:
Kyou Kara Maou
D.N. Angel
Shakugan no Shana
Zetsuen no Tempest

Slower Paced:
Spice and Wolf
Bakuman -- Read the manga
Barakamon

Rom Com:
Toradora -- I haven't seen this, but feels like something you might like?

General Recommendation (Not based on your list, but what I like instead)

Hunter X Hunter
