When Sandy arrived, 23 had already used two moves. (he was bred for stats also) Flamethrower, and wind-slash. The opposing pokemon staggered, using mud-slap. With one last burst of flame, 23 defeated the pokemon. (This makes you wonder what his level really is)

"Woah.." he watched him defeat it in only 3 moves"How did you do that?"

"wow you did GREAT" Sandy jumped in joy. "but first we need to know each other, I'm Sandy" she said

Exasperated, 23 felt himself gain EXP. "Well I..." he mumbled to Boom, "I guess I trained..? My mom was kinda strong, dad was a Ditto, never knew him well..." he stuttered, the fur around his neck lowering. Suddenly, the blue light of evolution poured from his fur.

Boom gasped. He then backed up and ran away scared."Run!!" he yelped. He ran in to a little hole he called his home. His mother asked"What's wrong?"

Still frozen by the evolution, 23's vision was obscured by the flashing light. The light shined as his body grew and stretched. Although when his shape became stable, the light still glowed. Blue light shined across the valley into the night.

"A-A" he said out of breath"A pokemon is evolving!" he finally got out.

His mother said"Stay inside you can go out in the morning.".(His mother had a bad experience while fighting, then the pokemon evolved)

(The next morning....)
The glowing died down, and Luperca stared wide-eyed at his paws. "Ah, wh...?" his voice sounded different. Deeper than before. The two wings that had sprouted from his back stood, fluffed out. "Aha..?" he half-laughed, spreading them out and closing them. Looking at the world differently now, 23 sat in the sand, his feathers getting dusty. He felt calmer, now. More aware. More powerful.
