Well he did go through a LOT, maybe he was upset that she just left, i mean she WAS the one that helped him start everything...i dunno though, i'd be glad she was gone!

awww, i keep trading in my old ones for the newest once it becomes clear they're making games that'll be incompatible. praying i can get enough christmas money for the new one and Happy Home Designer...i wish you luck though, i know the feeling, i didn't get to play the N64 versions 'cause i was just too young.

ugh, i need a wiiU so bad, they keep churning out zelda games, HD remakes and new stuff alike, and i'm just so frustrated! at least they're releasing a DS version of Hyrule Warriors, i hear, or a sequel or something? idk. but if i had a wiiU i could finally play Windwaker...i played Phantom Hourglass and god i LOVED it, but i know it was a sequel to Windwaker and i just...patootie.

oh my god, i think i know the one you're talking about, it's got multiple events and one is where he throws a bomb at the boat guy, right? it's a very Link thing to do omg

Ezlo's an old dude, old dudes nag. it was annoying at first, but it grew on me and once he told his backstory i was like dang, i'd be nagging too if my transportation was so bumbling and slow!

True, Ezlo has a reason. and yep, that's the one. Tetra's face when she became Zelda though or when they shot Link in a barrel XD. And when Link kept thinking the king of red lions would have a human in it only to later find out it's the king, oh my gosh!

lol it's fine, and i haven't touched Windwaker yet at all. it's probably the only one i TRULY want to play, it's really frustrating. can't play gamecube games on my classic Wii, don't have a WiiU...really frustrating OTL

Wind waker was the first LOZ game I played, I did not own the gamecube or the game, but a family friend had it when my real mom, my sister, my half brother, and me were staying over. I loved it. Never finished it, but I watched others play it online and I enjoy it a lot. But it is not even close to playing it yourself. MM is the one I want to play so badly. I found a 64 being sold in a shop, but the game for it was ocarina of time, so, I was bumbed a bit. Then a friend said they have MM for 64 and my face went like a real XD for a while as he talked about it. Then he gave it to someone else and I am now looking for one, once more.

I commandeered my birth dad's copy of Link's Awakening, but i just progressed his save file since i kept getting stuck on mine. I think Minish Cap was my first official one that i played all by myself, it's certainly not one for a complex emotional storyline but goodness everything else about it is really great! Playing Phantom Hourglass right after was kinda funny, couldn't help but wonder if Zelda was turned to stone in every reincarnation...

MM is...idk i'm torn between saying it's not all it's cracked up to be and it's ALL it's cracked up to be. I like it more than OoT right now, that one i just couldn't get emotionally invested in and i think it's just a wee bit overrated. I think a lot of people who adore the N64 ones love them because they have memories they made with them, whereas people these days just hear these huge expectations(and spoilers yeesh), and then they get disappointed when their experience playing doesn't include that huge feeling of nostalgia that others get.

But nothing trumps Twilight Princess for me, not yet, though Skyward Sword comes to a tie. I count story and general atmosphere as big things when i play a game, if the story or design is weak there's no way i'll like it. I know people make fun of TP being all ~dark and spooky~ in a bad way, but that game was designed SO well. The slightly gritty hyperrealism at the time was such a contrast to the rest of the series, the story was fantastic and easy to become emotionally invested in...same kind of thing with SS, it had a more lighthearted, painterly feel to it, the atmosphere was so cheery, yet well-adaptable to when baddies came around. I think it's a lot like the Windwaker-style games, the high saturation and consistent art style. The use of color theory in both is astounding, i absolutely adore them.

...whoops. I gushed over design again. Gah, it's so fun to talk about though...

Some friend though! Next time he wants something, i'd totally ignore him, lmao

LOL, and TP is amazing, SS is also up on my top ten. MM is somewhat on my must play because of the Ben Drowned thing. and Skull kid is just a character I enjoy seeing because he is funny. SS i played once and kept making link stick to walls, best thing ever, or get stuck in a tree. TP seems amazing and his wolf form howls song of healing, my favorite song in all of them. I learned the words and how to play it on a four hole ocarina to the point where my friends want me to do it for the talent show that happens every year at the high school.

he's cREEPY omg, little head twitchies...Ben Drowned is far scarier than the game, at least what i've seen so far. the first day before you get the ocarina is so anxiety inducing though, i had to put it down for a few hours to calm down lmao

man i can NEVER glitch on purpose, and when i do glitch i end up messing up the game irreversibly--like when i hit the Shad glitch in TP. had to restart the game because of his smug butt. have you seen the postman glitch though? i know there's youtube videos of it...oh god, i laughed so hard the first time i saw it...

song of storms is my fave, zelda's lullaby and saria's song being my second faves. actually teaching myself how to play the lullaby on guitar rn, though...though i have no idea how to play guitar, i'm just...teaching myself off of a tab sheet i found lol

an ocarina though, man, that's impressive you could even find one! more impressive that you could find words, lol. and most impressive that yes you should if you've got the courage to be in front of people!

The ocarina is actually an app on my phone, but I found an actual one that I am saving up to buy. the tree thing is just because I could not get the hang of him gliding down with the thing he uses. and the wall was just for the fun of it. good luck on the guitar though, and I just might, the song with lyrics is on youtube, hard to memorize at first due to ADHD, but once you do it literally sticks in your head and wont go away. I find myself humming it sometimes.
