Hi there, sorry for posting (as this isn't quite a request to use your kit), but I was actually wondering what the purpose of using this kit on a pet is?

(sorry for the double post) But what I mean by this is I know it's used to make a pet infertile, but why would someone want to do that? Thank you! (:

Don't worry about it Kitty, I'm happy to try and help. :D

There are a couple of reasons why people will want a pet infertile, Kitty. ^^

One is for max-stat pets; these projects take a long time to complete and a lot of resources to make the pet max-stat (100 of each stat and 2000 health). So if these pets were sold while being fertile, players can easily breed those bought pets and make more high-stat/max-stat pets. Then, what what most likely happen is the value of max-stat pets will plummet down, making the hard work of the breeders (the initial ones who first bred the max-stat pets) go for naught.

Another reason I can think of is in the case of a project (themed or otherwise). These also take a while to breed to full visibles and the infertility also protects the integrity of these project, like in the case of the max-stat pets. :)

One last reason that kind of connects to the first two, is also to decrease the price on max-stat/projects. A player can sell their projects for less and not have to worry about someone making use of the project pet and breeding a bunch of look-a-likes.

Hopefully this makes it clearer why players would choose to make pets infertile, but let me know if you have more questions and I'll do my best to answer. ^-^
