Orion looked up at the cliff. I don't give up that easily. He didn't say anything, but he began to climb again , starting all over. He carefully avoided the spot where the sand had been, and continued on. He placed his weight on one foot wrong, and slipped, sliding down the rock face a bit. This time he managed to grab a handhold, and pull himself back up, but he had lost several feet. At least I got a bit higher. And I'll fall to the bottom again, but I'm going to get up there eventually. WIthout falling. He stared upward with determination again, willing himself to reach the top.

Jora looks down wondering why Orion hadn't flown past her to the top yet. She smiled when she saw him trying again. "What are you doing?!" She yelled down at him jokingly. "Just fly up!" She got to the top and pulled herself up. She wiped off her hands on her apron and looked around for something to help Orion.

Orion kept climbing. He was six feet from the top now. He felt the rock beneath him begin to break under his weight, so he hurried to grab the next handhold, and pulled himself up. He finally reached the top after slipping once or twice more. At least I didn't fall all the way down. he thought as he hauled himself over the edge again. "Yeah, but I wanted to climb it. It's to easy to fly up," he said, finally replying.

Jora couldn't help but punch Orion in the arm. "Don't do that! You scared me!" She said smiling a little. She looked around over the bluff. "Wow..." She said quietly she had been right it was the perfect view of the castle and main path to it.

"Scared myself too," Orion said, smiling, and looking at his scraped fingers before turning to see what Jora was amazed by. He was speechless. "I've never had this good of a view before. I know it's probably not that good by your standards, living on a mountain and everything..."

Jora couldn't take her eyes off it but said. "Not like this... There isn't a castle near my village." And I was too busy hanging my head to look at it if there were. She added to herself. She pulled out her sketchbook and flipped to an empty page. She pulled out Naomi and drew the castle shading it like the sun was raising. She looked up for a second to make sure she got the towers right. She smiled. She knew exactly how she wanted to paint it.

Orion knew that Jora didn't like people watching her while she painted, so he sat down, and started eating his pork buns. They tasted even better than they smelled, and he savored each bite. When he finished, he stood up and drew his sword. Sister would like me practicing. Especially with her sword. He began sparring with invisible enemies, the one weapon he could wield, flashing in the sunlight. He continued to practice while Jora drew.

Jora finished her rough sketch and put her book away she slowly sat down and watched Orion while she ate her spring rolls and chicken. The tasted great. She started getting a little nervous. It really had been a long time since she had been in her monster form and she started getting scared something would happen when she did... if she even could. She put her food down only missing a few bites. She couldn't eat anymore.

Orion stopped practicing, when he noticed that Jora was done drawing, and sheathed his sword as he walked over to join her. "Are you still okay with changing into your monster form?" he asked, hoping he hadn't pushed her outside of her comfort zone too far.

Jora nodded slowly hiding her unfinished lunch. "To be honest I'm just nervous. It's been a long time and I'm afraid I'll set something on fire." Or explode... Or not even be able to. She pulled her knees up and wrapped her arms around them putting her chin on top. She just sat there for a second waiting to see if Orion would talk.
