"You can't just let him die!" Lark yelled, jumping to her feet. Her eyes flashed, but then fell on Yasa's wound. She could tell it was bad. "I'm sorry," she said quietly and turned away. She gripped the hilt of her sword tightly as if expecting another monster to emerge from the forest.

Orion stared at the ground. "This is my fault, isn't it?" he said, barely audible. He stared at the ground, tears coming to his eyes. He brushed them angrily away.

Kat: "It is no one's fault. Yasa has good reason. if he had not have thrown him self then you would be dead, not injured like he is." she kneels beside the stranger. "he will probably pull through." she stands a whistles one loud note, then stares at the clouds in the sky. Claradon appears and lands beside Yasa. Kat turns to the griffin. "Claradon i need you to go get the nurse, and fast she will know what to do." Claradon runs off toward town.

Lark kneeled by the body of the beast and cut off one of it's scales. She tapped it with the tip of her sword. She pocketed and walked over to Kat and the stranger. "We probably should try to get Yasa back to your house. She offered her hand to Kat to help her up,

Nurse:"what seems to be the trouble? Kat i have to hand it to you, you have trained that griffin well."

Lark points to Yasa. "He's hurt. Badly," she said simply. She grabbed the stranger's hand and helped him to his feet. He looked at her in surprise, and she smiled at him before turning to look anxiously at the nurse. Silver shifted his weight on her shoulder and pecked affectionately at her hair. She stroked her absent mindedly. She lowered her hand and rested it on her sword's hilt.

Nurse: she bends down to look at Yasa. "I dont think that there is much i can do for him. Kat you need to take him home and clean out that cut. then all we can do is pray..." the nurse stands and leaves.

Kat: "can someone help me get Yasa on to Claradon?"

Yasa: he opens his eyes some, which to him is a tremendous effort. "Kat?" he says faintly "Kat. Kat? are you there?"
