The you started down the path that soon seemed to turn into dense jungle all around the flowers were vibrant and smelled lovely and to your surprise the ground was dry and dusty. Small pollinating Birds hummed from flower to flower like dainty little fairys. The only bad news was that the path seemed to be thinning and turning into more of a forest of flowers than a clear path with every step forward

Sable turns away from the noisy, busy path to his right. Too much hustle and bustle. Too many others to bump into and get caught up with. Instead, he heads left... while the flowers are pretty, there's something alluring about the glow from the darker part of the woods. It is dangerous? Who knows. But it's where he wants to be.

The dark path is quite daunting at first its hard to see and roots and snags are constantly nagging at your feet as you move. There is a hint of smoke in the air but more like a campfire or burning hearth that a forest fire though it is very faint still so it must be quite a ways away

A controlled fire means other people. Other people mean interaction. He doesn't want his little adventure cut short so soon. Sable doesn't bother trying to stick to any path, doesn't try going fast. Simply picking his way through the under growth, occasionally scoping like a snake to look around for anything interesting as he picks his way around. Going slow and keeping track of his surroundings feels like the right move in the darkness.

It seems as you travel away from the scent of smoke you can hear the sounds of rushing water up ahead and the forest is seeming to thin though it is getting darker as you go. Eventually you eye catches a small glint of light in the distance it seems to be in a clear area

A light? A clearing? A river, or maybe a waterfall? Sable continues to press through the woods, curious to see what this sparkle in the darkness may be.

Hope: "Stop, Glimmer, we're not going in there! There's water in there, and where there's water, there are often fish!" Glimmer: "Oh, great, I like fishes! ... Hope, what are fish?" Hope: "Fish are creepy, swimming creatures with scales that wait in the water until someone comes to them so they can eat. Some people eat fish, but it tastes awful!" Glimmer: "Glimmer is hungry! Fish are great! Glimmer is going to visit the fish!" Hope: "No, Glimmer, stopp!" -She tries to grab Glimmer's paw, but Glimmer wriggles free from her grasp, spreads her wings, and flies wobbling deeper into the cave. Hope sighs and follows her-
I hope it's okay that I simply turned Glimmer into a second person... ;-)

As you get closer it seems to be a bioluminescence spring with a small cascading fall that were glowing a faint lavender color

As you follow her and the light deeper into the cavern you start to notice bright crystals along the walls and floors some with tiny flowers and vines growing around them. The further you move in the more abundant and alive everything becomes. Soon you enter a large open area of the cavern inside is a bioluminescence lake with mini falls cascading around it between the bright golden light of the lake and the foliage and crystals it almost felt as if you were back on the surface. Inside the lake there did see do be some small minnow like fish but nothing substantially concerning. The larger plants in the area did seem to have some pretty large fruit and flowers which explained the sweet smell
