" Hmm, mostly survive. In the Night Kingdom, we live in a volcano kind of place. Apparently we used to live in a real kingdom before it got destroyed. (I'll explain that in the PM) We sometimes hunt, some of the older dragons go to fight in the war, and yeah. "Fun" isn't really a word we're allowed to use." Starsight explained, slipping again. She steadies herself before turning to look at Viva again.

(At least they are taken up by a lot of pictures though, so I can probably read each one in about an hour? I'll maybe read them during winter break)

"You should just move here!" Viva suggests excitedly. "I don't think my mother would mind that much, but if you steal my food i'm kicking you out." She thinks for a moment and then decides to inform Starsight about the typical trickery she will need to get used to if they will be living in the same den. "Also, I might prank you. A lot. Like a lot. Possibly. Maybe. Who am I kidding, it's a deffinitely."

(Oh no not warrior cats as well I've only read like one chapter from the first book in that series)

Cassowary felt herself starting to slip, and dug her claws into the tree. She wobbled, losing her balance and tumbled out of the tree. She gathered herself, glaring at the Nightwing.

( I like Darkstalker, but my favorite is probably Moon Rising or the Poison Jungle. But Foxy, they are not taken up by pictures but some of them are small. So yeah, you probably could. I'm a speedreader so I definitely could.)

Starsight dropped from the tree to see the RainWing from earlier glaring at her. " Who are you and why do you seem to hate me so much?" she asked, and stepped backwards. She watched Viva from next to her, who looked like she knew this dragon.

Cassowary hissed. "None of your business. What are you doing here, nightwing?" She backed up into the tree behind her, trying not to let the fear that she was feeling show.

" I came here because I wanted to get out of the kingdom! There's nothing there for me! The other NightWings make fun of me because of my weird powers. I thought I could find some friends, but I guess I was wrong. I'll leave if you want that!" Starsight said, her anger rising up. She tried to calm down, but that wasn't really working. She tried to control her telekinesis so that she wouldn't hurt anyone, and that was kind of working.

Cassowary blinked, surprised by the nightwing's outburst. She watched Viva scoot away uncomfortably. She sighed. Nightwings can't be trusted, she thought to herself, what am I doing? She took a small step away from the tree, analyzing the nightwing. She looked younger than her. She couldn't of had anything to do with her kidnapping, right?

Starsight noticed the RainWing and Viva back away. " I'm sorry, I'm not usually like that." she said, then turned around to fly back to the tunnel. She spread her star-speckled wings, ready to fly away. Before she took off, she heard a thought from the RainWing. NightWings can't be trusted. She frowned and her wings drooped.

Cass watched the Nightwing spread her wings, and a twinge of jelously pass over her as she looked down at her own tattered ones. She glared. "Do you want to know why I hate Nightwings?" She spread her wings wide, exposing torn membranes and old scars. "This. This is why." She folded her wings close to her body, feeling momentarily self-conscious. She turned and started to walked back toward the forest, but something stopped her.

"I'm your friend!" Viva tells Starsight, and then hisses at Cassowary, (Do dragons hiss?) "If you do not apologize, bad things will come your way." She tells her, flicking her tail back and forth in the dirt. I know that she is a hybrid, like me, and I should relate to her, but being rude for no reason crosses lines. Viva tells herself, and then freezing in sadness and also curiosity upon seeing Cassoswary's damaged wings. "What happened?" She asks in a distraught tone, barely at a whisper.
