Oh no they found out-
But really, thank you so much for drawing the character! It was really cool to see your interpretation of them, given how vague and airy they are in the written reference. I love the teal backlighting, gives them that eerie sort of glow, super suited to their situation. That iridescent eye? Epic!

I read the story! It was a super interesting concept for a competition btw, fascinating to also think you read some novels people sent in for it ^^;
My patience could never
I tried to keep them the same or similar color as the background and let them fade into it a little bit - unsure how well that turned out compared to what I'd envisioned, but glad you like it nonetheless!

It turned out great! The piece does look like they are somewhat melting into their surroundings. I am so hype about your art right now, you have no idea.
The competition may have also been an excuse for me to find reading material lol
Can't find no books these days. Don't know where to look for recommendations
