"My anger was there,it's always there.I just let it slip,it's not your fault." He said,orange tinting the edge of his freckles now.

"That was good. You'll need to use that when you fight."

He nodded,letting his hands carefully rest on the sides of the jar again. "I guess..." His voice was still soft but there was a soft second voice that was a bit different than his own,sharper. Shade's,but that was just an effect,not his semi-twin speaking....yet.

Ash listened. He smelled of frost and something sharp, like peppermint, somehow having maintained that smell throughout all he had been through

Subconsciously and a little automatically,Jason closed his eyes firmly and let his dragon sense of smell take it in,letting it wash over him and somehow calm him.

'Aw~.The sweet little scaley and his princey boo~! How sickeningly sweet.'
The voice hissed at Jason softly and he flinched,eyes shutting tighter as his tail tensed again.

Ash didn't seem phased, and it was as if he couldn't hear it.

(Can he hear the voice?)

(Sure.But sometimes maybe not,but right now yeah.It's sorta a whisper in the air so to speak.)

Now all his markings seeped with black and he was tense again.

"This world has ways of removing the unwanted,seems to me dear brother that your a special case if it's taken 18 years already.Though if I were fate I'd have ended your first night.But~,then again... What FUN would that be~?"

Jason didn't respond,taking calming breaths.

"Still the cold and confused I see dear twin." Shade sneered.

Ash only held Jason tighter, noticing how he had flinched before and how tense he was

Jason opened his eyes and one was red while the other purple,both pupils slitted. "And I see you still are as secretive as usual,no view I see~?" he joked,being a jock but not a flirt. Strange mist seemed through the round window as if not even caring about the laws of physics and came over in front of Jason,swirling in an eddie before forming a half dragon half human boy so similar to Jason and to which he glared. Shade sighed,tail swishing and a crazy grin on his face. "Hello~." he then made a dramatic and stupid bow at the waist. " Pleasure to see though again...although I'd rather see your corpse." He sneered,grinning crazily at them with razar sharp teeth and deadly fangs. "I guess that's one thing we agree on,Shade. I'd love to see your corpse too,would make a party great~." Jason replied with his own sneer,smirking really at those glowing read eyes in the faintly colored shape.

Ash watched and listened to the whole thing play out
