Didn't look like it,the place was clear of monster things.But if Kate did die of any reason D would first kill the cause,if she could,and then she'd probably give up on avoiding the lab.

Yep,and even if she was just passed out,D would assume the worst because often in the lab,creatures would go to sleep and not wake up.
