Jason was a little agitated at some point,just a bit but mostly at himself. What it would probably take would be what he hated most other than being alone,being taunted.And being taunted about his weak spots and weak moments. But at the moment,only faint frustrated orange hinted in his freckles but his expression was trying-to-stay-focused and I'm-somewhat-calm.

Ash took a step over his boundaries and smacked Jason on the rear

He jumped,frills bursting out and his tail sorta...resembled the motions of a tail of a shocked cat. His face was immediately awkward red and he spun around and jabbed at Ash quickly. He wasn't frustrated but rather flustered.

Ash stepped to the side, letting the sword pierce the air next to him. He continued trying to make him upset, mad enough that he would actually want to hit Ash with the sword

And Jason kept trying to hit him with the sword but after he was flustered it was all that was triggered,being flustered.He didn't get mad,that would take a memory of Shade or at least for something about his past or issues to be brought up.

Ash didn't exactly want to go there but soon realized he might have to. He stood a few paces away, out of reach at the moment. "I want you to pretend you're fighting your twin. Shade. Pretend like you're back when he killed your sister."

That made him uncomfortable,the anger was in there.That had opened the door to it,but he was holding it back as usual best he could. He didn't like his anger. "But...that anger..." He shook his head,just telling him to remember wasn't enough...he'd need to be taunted.He wouldn't stay mad at Ash if he taunted him,but he wouldn't be all smiley with him if the topic hung in the air afterwards.That's if Ash decided to risk that.

He did. He steeled himself, getting ready for a blow. Where was Puck or Grim when you needed them? "You weren't able to save her," he said bluntly. "Or your father. Or your other sister." He wasn't going to say it was his fault. He wasn't going to go that far.

Suddenly it was clear that had been a blow to the stomach,a truth told over and over to him by his own mind. He made no verbal rebuksion of it,he did get a little squeamish though. Red flickered into his freckles around the edges,no matter what colors tried to fight it. His frills folded and pinned down. "I...I tried." He said softly.
