Jason pushed away,in his mind, any thought of friendships or anything like that as he watched Ash closely, hand firm on the sword hilt and turned carefully so that Ash was never behind his back. He tried to ignore the memory of Shade doing this to him before,so many times and yet he'd never been able to kill his semi-twin.

He smiled grimly and continued to stalk. "Jason, I would love to teach you properly, from the beginning, but that takes years, centuries, even. And since we dont have that kind of time, Im giving you the condensed version. Besides, the best way to learn is by doing." He jabbed at Jason with his sword, nowhere near coming close. "Now, try to hit me. And dont hold back."

Jason didn't even flinch as Ash jabbed, and not because it didn't come close. He'd been attack with weapons in unfair fights before--knives,guns,bats and clubs--,and long before he'd even met Ash and Puck. But the thing was,he'd never used a real weapon himself.
He let out a very soft breath, tail coiling around his left legs splint and wings pressing to his sides. His wings pressed a moment then half spread calmly and in a fashion that was only loose and calm, ready for the faintest twitch to send them into any movement. He didn't tense other than his grip on the hilt as he,against his mental and dumbly emotional better judgement that would have held back, stepped to the side and jabbed his sword at where he knew within a second Ash would be with his movements.

Ash stopped on a dime. In the space of a blink, his sword licked out, slapping Jason's ribs with the flat of the blade. It was possible to feel the bite of absolute cold through his shirt.

He didn't give a flinch, though he wasn't used to that type of cold even from Snowbliders like Snowball. But he,of course being half human, wasn't anywhere close to fast enough to try and even block the "hit". Nor could he even use his wings to swish his body to the side....so....he sorta tried....arching....his back....sideways.
,,,
It didn't work.

He gave Jason a humorless smile. Ash brandished his sword in an expert manner and cocked two fingers at him. "Again."

He nodded, not even about to give up,and he tried out what he'd seen some people do in Karate. He put on foot behind himself and the other front but gingerly angled his weight. He focused his eyes and, moving forward with an odd sashay, shoved the tip of the blade first. He tried to aim for Ash's torso, but even knowing he obviously didn't match up to even be able to have a chance at hitting ash,the faintest hint of hesitation tinted his eyes despite that he didn't let it show any other way in his motions.

Ash slid aside. For the rest of the morning, they practiced. Or, more accurately, Jason tried to hit Ash and received more swats from Ash's sword. He didnt do it every time, and he never once cut Jason.

Jason was thankful Ash never once cut him but at some point his torso didn't much like Jason for the swats. No matter how he tried to use his wings, weight, tail,it didn't really help. But he felt a lot more comfortable after a while with the sword,it felt much more normal in his hand and his movements somewhat became less jerky and a bit more at ease.But...being half human, not by to much.

Ash tried anything he could to make Jason mad, trying to bring the fighter out
