Jason's eyes turned purple and slitted pupils,but he wasn't scared. "Better than before,why?" He actually didn't know if Ash noticed the limp or the wounds.

(Okay!)

He turned, raking a hand through his bangs, shoving them out of his eyes. "Just wondering. I saw how it looked last night. I went back to Leanansidhe's," he said, walking forward. "I wanted to get something for you, so I had one of her contacts track one down for me."

(Okay,now I'm sorta semi-on.)

Jason kept himself from blushing as Ash raked his bankgs from his eyes. "Something? For...me? I'm assuming I sorta heard that wrong,no one...does things like that,for me." He honestly was a bit confused,unless it was some sort of thing that would seal his fate,he wouldn't blame Ash.

Ash strode to a nearby rock, swooped down, and tossed Jason a long, slightly curved stick.

Jason leaped to the side and caught it,curious.

So it turbs out that it was actually a leather sheath with a gilded brass hilt poking from the top. A sword. Ash was giving him a sword

Once he realized what it was he was shocked,he'd never actually had worked with a real weapon. He didn't mean to let it show,but his scales turned from confused colors to twisting teal and magenta,twisting and fluttering through his underwings and freckles.

"You need to know how to fight without shifting, especially if it means getting you hurt more," he explained.

Jason bit his lower lip with a fang. "I've never done it any other way to be honest. I've just been trained to do it that way,but...I-I'm not good with weapons,I think you've seen that with that bow,it was fairly a sucky shot.I-I doubt I c-could handle a sword without hitting the wrong person."

"I have a feeling things will get much more chaotic, so you need to learn." He gestured to the sword in Jason's hand.

"Your first lesson begins now. Draw your sword."
