"Until then we might need to keep it at Parkview," Mr. Morgan frowned, "to make sure it doesn't wound it farther."

Logan spoke up and said, "We have just about everything the foal could need there."

The vet thought about it. "Sure, but he can't just be captured and domesticated. He will forget the life of a wild horse and then won't survive out here."

"I already own the herd so he can become a domesticated horse if need be," Mr. Morgan added.
Sirina looked at him, "Is the best option?"
"Are there many others?"

Logan nodded and the vet asked, "How many other horses are hurt?"

"No clue," Sirina admitted, "when they stamppeed I couldn't tell."
Mr. Morgan whistled and Wildfire rounded up the injured horses. There were only three of them.

The vet looked them over, trying not to startle them or anything like that

Most of the injuries were quiet minor but there was one that might require stitches.
A bay mare was cut by the bullet along the shoulder.
"If you need help I'll hold them so they don't hurt you," Mr. Morgan offered.

"That would be nice, thank you."

"Start with the bay," Morgan asked.

The vet nodded, pulling out stitches that were silk and that shouldn't have to be taken off. She, as gently as she could, started to stitch up the horse's wound
