Her mind was racing and she ran past the Nimmts. "I'll try to keep that promise." She whispered. "This is why I hate Nimmts! You all take and take!"

Zach tries to follow, but he falls behind to make sure the Nimmts don't get you or Azrail.
You find yourself not on the path any more.

"Oh no. I have absolutely no idea where we are. I'll probably find my way back. Maybe. It might take a while, Azrail." She started walking a way that she thought the path would be.

"It's okay." Azrail mutters, snuggling up to you and staying as still as possible.
After five minutes, you haven't found any sign of the path.

"Come on, come on. I'll find Zach and the path soon." She went a different way and walked a little slower as the adrenaline was running out.

"Is the world supposed to be spinning?" Azrail mutters, putting his paws over his snout.
Everything looks dead and similar. You could be heading in circles for all you know.

"Just hold out for a bit longer." She looked worried and she bit her lip. "It's all so similar, but it's dead. I might be getting closer to the path." She decided to walk a different way.

Azrail stays quiet and closes his eyes.
You find the path, but there was no sign of Nimmts or Zach or your horses.

"Where-where are they? Maybe it'd be better if I just continue on. I might be able to connect with Zach..." "Zach? Zach are you there?" She hoped with all her might they hadn't killed him. "No, he can handle himself."

There is no reply. The path continues. The shrubbery is all dead. On foot, it takes a while before you reach a city. A city that is currently being rooted by Nimmts and terrorized by manticores.
