He made no move to get up, letting her sleep.

She smiled softly. She had one hand on his chest, she had a gentle grip on his shirt. She was at bliss.

Yeah, he wasn't going to bother her.

She continued to be peaceful until she started to move a little.
"Nnn..." She said quietly, moving closer to him.

He wasn't entirely sure if that meant what she was dreaming about was good or bad

Well...
She flinched a little, closing her eyes a little tight.

"I asked you to get ready for tonight." Her boyfriend said.
Hazel sighed.
"I did..." She showed him the outfit she put on for their dinner tonight.
"I don't like it. Go change."
She looked in his eyes, searching for a 'just kidding' vibe, but she didn't find one.
"Seriously? Do you know how long I-"
"I don't care Hazel. Go change." He said, getting annoyed with her attitude.
"No! If you don't like it I just won't go-"
He grabbed her wrist tight, not letting go.
"You will go and you will go get changed now! I will not tell you again Hazel!"
My heart was beating so fast, I was so afraid he was going to strike me. Instead he only let me go when I said...
"Ok... I-I will..."
"Good." He let go of her wrist and she headed quickly to the bedroom to 'change', but all she did was cry.

(After I actually typed it out I realized how bad their relationship was. I mean there is more I can tell you, but I don't think it's the right time for it. ^.^)

(Okay, then...I will wait. Also, yeah...that's not a healthy relationship at all...)

So...it was very bad then. Moreso than he could imagine.

"Johnathan?..." Hazel said his name, she was scared.
"Hmm?" He wondered what she was going to say.
They were laying in bed watching a movie, it was almost night time but not quite.
"I...I can't."
"What?" He was confused.
"I can't do this anymore..."
"What do you mean?" He wanted her to say it directly.
"I can't do it..."
"Hazel... What can't you do?"
She pushed herself away from him and got out of bed.
"I-I'm... I'm leaving..." She said with a bit of fear.
"Why would you do that?" He asked.
Hazel headed for the door.
"Hey wait!" He got out of bed and stopped her at the door.
"You need to give me a reason!" He demanded.
"I...I want to leave..." She started to shake a little.
"Not until you give me a reason."
"Let me go!"
"No."
"I said let me go!" She pushed him away from the door and she hurried to close it. The door closed on his hand.
The last thing she heard from him was pain.
She hurried to the bus stop by his apartment and headed home. She sat in her usual spot; in the back and by the window. All she did was look outside, she was heartbroken. Small tears were rolling down her face, her emotions were mixed with happiness and sadness.
When she made it home she talked to her mom and then slept.
That next morning she felt lighter, she felt happier, and she felt comfortable.

So...why was she ever sad about leaving him?

Because their relationship lasted for 1 1/2 years. She still had hope that it would work out, but It only got worse overtime.
