Sans's grin looked less pronounced. "i just ran like three kilometers..."
"IT WAS A QUARTER KILOMETER AT BEST." Papyrus interjected. "AND THAT'S WITH SOME VERY, VERY GENEROUS ROUNDING UP."
(Kilometers because they aren't heathans.)

Sans didn't quite manage to get the same distance this time around before essentially shutting down for the third time that day. Fortunately, Papyrus was ready to intercept the inevitable collapse this time around.

Even though Sans flashed Undyne a half-hearted thumbs-up in affirmative, Papyrus ran a quick Check just to make sure he wasn't too tired out. Even then, he still felt compelled to ask.
"CAN YOU KEEP GOING?"
"....y-yeah, yeah, jis... just gimme a sec...."

Sans didn't need any convincing on that front, dozing off right there without even accepting the pillow. Papyrus sighed in resignation, willing to just let him be for now. But in the meantime....
"THIS SEEMS A BIT MORE.... RIGOROUS THAN LAST YEAR...." He noticed, sounding somewhat concerned.
