Jason still didn't want to leave Puck because...well he feared that he'd walk off and...not come back. He sighed,wishing Ash was wrong but he wasn't.He was fairly tired and he couldn't help anyone as he was,his own mind a little foggy. He lowered his head and put his hands into his pockets as he turned away from the two and walked back toward the cabin. His tail now dragging behind him,he didn't care about the pain in his left leg at the moment nor that his tail dragged through the grass.

Down the hall and up a flight of stairs to the loft overlooking the main room, a rustic log railing barred the edge, where you could peer down on the living room below, and a queen-size bed with a grizzly-bear rug complete with head and claws crouched under the eaves.

Jason wasn't much for big things so,as quietly as he could,he shifted to his small dragon form and padded over under the bed on careful talons. Silver tears glittered softly on his snout and he was holding himself firm inside so that he didn't crack,what he usually did so he didn't shatter.What he didn't do the last time.He curled up under the bed rather than on it and put his talons to his snout and his frills hung a bit. His wings tight to his sides and tail limp,the tip poking out a bit in view.

"I'll be downstairs," Ash murmured from the doorway. "Try to get some sleep."

All Jason said was a little warble and pulled his tail tip under the bed with him,all he wanted to do was sleep right now.

Ash stayed as he was for a moment before pushing himself away from the wall, heading downstairs

For a second Jason wanted to just hold onto something,someone even.But then he soon was washed into a torrent of emotions that smashed through his frills freckles and underwings,as well as his foggy mind and his aching chest. Only the faintest whimpering sounds came from him.

Ash heard, as he hadn't really gone downstairs. He was right outside the room, listening. It pained him to hear Jason whimper

He dragged his front talons against the floor,they weren't sharp to sharp in this form,and pushed his head to the floor as well,still whimpering and trying to knock out but these emotions didn't let him. No matter how he tried to hit his head down it only hurt his neck,sadly it did nothing to help knock himself out.

Ash listened for a moment more before speaking, not moving from where he was at. "I know I was the one who left," he said, staring at the wall. "I said we were enemies and that we couldnt be together. I knew it would break your heart, but...I also knew Puck would be there to pick up the pieces. Whatever came of that, I brought on myself. I know I have no right to ask..." He stopped, taking a short breath, as if that confession had been difficult. "But," he went on, "I have to know, Jason. I cant wonder about this, not with him. Or you. It will drive me crazy." He sighed. "You know what I feel for you. You know Ill protect you from whatever comes at us, but this is the one thing I cant fight."
