Amias felt his face heat up a little as Riften grabbed his hand, and he couldn't usher away the smile that broke through his face.
"Well, I can't argue with that. This poor kingdom needs a new ruler, and new laws. Allurith was nothing like this place. Our king and queen were very righteous, the same goes for the princess and the prince."
It was rare Amias spoke about his home country very often, but it felt nice to talk about it now.
(Oh my gosh for sure!)

Emrys listened quietly to Averill as she walked beside him. Her mind wandered to her own parent's and her brother's execution, and it made her heart hurt a little.
"I know what it's like to loose someone like that. I-" She paused, and bit her lip as she had to lie again. "Lost my mother, she was killed for something she didn't do."
She gave a sad smile up at him as she said her next words.
"Don't worry, your secret's safe with me. I won't say a word." Emrys made the "zipping her lips" gesture.

Riften smiled back, forgetting Ekon could be watching them for a few moments. "Yes, though I think the prince has it covered.", Riften commented. "Maybe the princess id planning on forming a new country." Riften was happy that Amias was opening up about his home, it was nice.
(Though, Riften might not be able to see Amias's home country.)

Odelina blushed and wiped her hair out of her face. Aww Liddy! She chimed. Her eyes sort of sparkled with excitement.

The blonde smiled, sitting down, hands in her lap. "Watcha gonna do, Odelina?", She asked softly, returning the excitement.

Amias looked at the ground for a moment, still smiling softly.
"It would be great if she was." He replied, looking ahead. Whatever she was planning at the meeting, he truly hoped this rebellion wouldn't be a suicide mission. It would just be another awful thing to add to this kingdom's history books.
(That makes it all the sadder ;-;)

Riften's heartbeat quickened as butterflies grew in his stomach. He pushed the feeling down though.
"I agree, I would like to be free one more time before I die.", Riften agreed, turning the corner to the library. He knocked on the door, saying it was him before stepping back. He looked behind them just in case anyone was watching.
(Yep, that's the point.)

Amias didn't say anything else, just enjoying this small moment, even if it wasn't much. Although it felt the world to him. He kept his guard up at this point, giving a glance down the halls. He kept his hands ready in case he needed to use his blades, or even take the cloth from his eyes if necessary. Ekon seemed to be watching even when Amias thought he wasn't, and that scared him sometimes.

Hmm... She moved closer to Lidia but stopped when she heard someone outside the door. Uh, sounds like the first of them are here. She muttered. She rushed over to the door and opened it. She recognized the pair but only from occasionally walking by them during her work in the castle. She looked back at Lidia to confirm they were supposed to be here.

"I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there," said Ahelissa. She froze when Remilia told her how much time they had left. "An hour?! We have to hurry. We can't have you being late!" She shoved all the memories of her family to the back of her mind. It was easier to just focus on the task at hand. Less stressful. She let out a long sigh and looked up at Remilia. "I don't actually have to dance, right? I can't dance." Ahelissa got a sudden idea. In her most serious tone, she added, "Wait, we could use that! If there's a suitor whom you particularly dislike, just send him out onto the dance floor with me. He just might walk away with a couple broken toes. And traumatic shock." Ahelissa grinned, trying to lighten the mood. She motioned for the door. "We have to get our outfits soon though, I don't want you to be late."
