After a minute or so, Sonic planted his foot in the snow and skidded to a halt. "The snow starts melting a little further down!" He called to Val. "Might wanna stop before you're boarding on rocks!"

Val didn't hear him due to her listening to her music, when she hit the rocks she just adapted to the terrain and continued easily.

Sonic binked. "Huh." He shrugged, and went to put his board away. "I'll meet her at the bottom, I guess. Won't take long,"

Soon Val reached the bottom, she jumped off grabbed her board and landed easily, "Wonder how long he'll take." she said thoughtfully.

A minute later, Sonic zipped down to the base of the mountain. "Hi,"

Val chuckled, "Hi, why didn't you continue with me?" she asked, she had been able to snowboard on rocky terrain before so it was normal for her.

"I hate the feeling of baording on rocks.... Kinda like that feeling when you scrathch a fork on a plate."

Val sighed, "I don't like that sound either but I've gotten used to riding on rocks." she explained.

Sonic frowned. "How do you live with yourself...?"

Val shrugged, "I only have to take care of myself, but I never only think of myself." she said sticking her hands in her pockets.
