"But... just look at what I have done! I thoughtlessly killed a living being! I just.... killed him!" Blue cried.

"Right, yep, and you're going to have to kill more if you don't quiet down" Kai said. "Get over yourself, people die, and sometimes you're the reason" Kai told her.

Blue nodded and calmed down a bit. She pet Shadow, her hand still shaking and sighed.

"Anyways, hiding here won't be safe anymore, they'll realize he's missing eventually, and they'll find him dead here, and I don't want to be around when it happens" Kai said, opening the window and jumping onto the roof of the next house.

Blue came out from under the bed and picked up Shadow. "Oh Shadow, where do we go now if not home... I'm not following that psychopath." Blue said quietly. She quickly grabbed the steak knife. "Just in case" she whispered as she climbed out the window and looked around.

There was another boy on the roof with Kai now, they hugged, happy to see each other. "I sent my spirit animal to get help, I can feel him alive, so we should be saved in a few days" Kai told the boy.

Blue watched their reunion and then sighed. She quickly jumped to the roof of next house over and tapped on Kai's shoulder. "Hate to ruin your reunion but where are you two gonna hide for several days, from what you have said earlier it has become clear to me that no one can hide in a house or anywhere in this town for that matter without being found. If that is the case, in several days y'all won't be around to celebrate your friends getting her and supposedly saving everyone, not to mention the leaving of all you dumb cloak people!" Blue said angrily.

The boy with reddish skin glares at her. "Y'know, usually you shouldn't insult people who are going to save you and everyone else, especially ones who could kill you in a minute" he snarled quietly. Kia put his arm around the other boy. "Angel, it's alright, she's not the smartest girl" Kai told him, and he calmed down a little, but still didn't seem to friendly to her. "We're going to find our own hiding place-" Kai started explaining, before Angel cut him off "but we aren't telling you" he interjected.

"Save? That's funny. So far I've seen no one being saved! And you aren't saving everyone, look at how many people are dead so far! Continue to tell me how this is saving everyone! Oh sure, you'll get revenge for them by killing their killers, you still ain't saving them. Most of the people in this town probably don't stand a chance against these dark cloak people, so by the time your friend get here, the only ones they'll be saving is maybe you two. And once all of this is over, if anyone else survives, a lot of these people will probably be hurt, emotionally and physically. So please do explain how this is saving everyone." She growled. "I'm much smarter then you two realize, I may not act it, but smart people don't always act the way you expect. And you are being quite rude to me, no wonder I'm rude back, I'm not known to be kind to those who are rude to me. Blue said quietly as she slid down the roof to the very edge and hopped down. She quickly checked on shadow then ducked under her house's backyard fence in the area where it was broken and ran back towards the shed coming out with a small back pack. She then looked around and frowned as she reached back into the back pack to slip the steak knife into it.

Angel took his switch blade out, but Kai held him back "hey, it's okay, we don't need her, the dark cloaks will find that idiot, I've talked to her, she's not as smart as she claims" Kai said, pushing the switch blade back to its hiding place. "But, we probably won't make it hiding until backup arrives, so" Kai sighed, taking out two matching knives. Angel sighed, then hugged him. "We never told her we saved anyone, we just told her we were stopping the dark cloaks" Kai laughed "she's just making up stuff for a good arguement" Angel laughed, taking his weapons back out.

They saw two kids hiding in a corner, some dark cloaks going to attack them. Kai swooped in, using his cloak as wings to glide and kill the dark cloaks before they could react. Angel swooped in, pulling the kids up to safety, while Kai distracted the other dark cloaks, before swooping off back to the rooftops. "There's people escaping as the docks, let's try to get the survivors there" Angel said, picking up one kid while Kai took the other.
