Jason looked around as he followed, mostly to see if he could maybe catch any sign of Puck following but he felt his heart sink as he didn't catch sight of anything. He looked down then, head lowered a little,as he kept following. He knew it was only fair if Puck decided to leave,he knew it was with what Jason had done. He therefore told himself that Puck had the right to leave as he wished and that Jason himself hadn't had that right to hurt Puck.

"Hey," Ash said quietly. "I'm sure he'll show up."

Jason nodded, swallowing as he gave Ash a thankful smile, and forced his head not to stay lowered. But his eyes still betrayed how he was scolding himself rather harshly in his mind, again trying to beat at his feelings but this time at hurt and how it made him feel a little lonely.

Ash wished there was something he could say or do to help him feel better.
Grimalkin led them down another maze of torchlit hallways to an old wooden door hanging crookedly from its hinges. Sunlight streamed in through the cracks, and birdsong trilled somewhere beyond the door.
When pulled open, they found themselves in a dense forest glen, broad-leafed trees surrounding them on every side and a babbling stream cutting through the clearing. Sunlight dappled the forest floor, and a pair of spotted deer raised their heads to watch them, curious and unafraid.
Ash stepped through the stony mound they'd exited, and the door creaked shut as soon as they were both out. He took in the forest surroundings with one smooth, practiced gaze, and turned to Grimalkin.
"There are several trows watching us from the bushes. Are they going to be a problem?"

Jason looked around and was a little confused,he didn't see anyone watching them but he saw the deer and for some reason he found that he had an urge that was so different from his usual appetite for fruit...he had the urge to hunt.Weird,he thought of it very weird. It wasn't something he himself ever really felt and he found himself having to rip his gaze away from the deer so that his fangs didn't drip with sleeping poison. He didn't remember at the moment that it was a feeling he only got when Shade had the ability of the moment to grab hold of Jason's will and do as he pleased, even use him as a vessel if he wished. This was only reinforced with the black tinting around the edge of his freckles, tail still tight around his left leg but it had faint death black creeping into the "invisible" white swirls on the scales.

Grimalkin yawned and scratched behind an ear. "Leanansidhes groundskeepers," he said offhandedly. "Nothing to worry about. If you hear feet moving around the cabin at night, it is probably them. Or the brownies."

Jason let his eyes admired the place around them,he wondered still what the groundskeepers where,he liked meeting new creatures, even if he almost died by their claws/paws/talons/hands.

(No worries!)
"This way." Tail up, Grimalkin trotted across the clearing, hopped the stream, and disappeared midjump.
