Jason followed,looking back to make sure Puck came along as well.
He was confused on why this Iron fey wanted to talk rather than chop off some heads and drag him back. He crossed his arms and looked the iron fey up and down. "Running often just attracts the hunter." Jason mumbled,having hunted before. No,he himself never ate the meat,he usually brought it back for Crysta.

Puck was right behind Jason. The iron faery smirked and rolled his eyes, which were a shimmering violet, "Fine, allow me to introduce myself, then. My name is Glitch."

The violet shocked him a little and he felt a little shocked that his heart pounded a little faster for a moment.
"Huh.I'm assuming you know my name?" He didn't think he needed to really introduce himself.

"Yeah," Glitch said, and the grin on his face stretched wider, showing teeth. "I was King Machinas first lieutenant. Just throwing that out there."

Ash drew his sword in a flash of blue light, filling the air with cold. Glitchs eyebrows shot up, but he didnt move, even as the tip of the sword hovered inches from his chest. "You could hear me out instead of jumping to conclusions," he offered.

Jason didn't like trusting a former lieutenant of Machina's,but he sighed and gently put a hand,as a friend,to Ash's shoulder. "How about hearing him out and then maybe killing him."

Ash backed off a step, not sheathing his sword but not aiming it at Glitchs heart anymore, either. "What do you want? Do you serve the false king, now? Or did you just come by for introductions?"

"Im here," Glitch said, "because I want the false king stopped as much as you do. In case you havent heard, the war with Iron isnt going so well. Oberon and Mab have united to stop the false king, but their armies are slowly being crushed. The wyldwood grows smaller every day, as more and more territory is absorbed into the Iron Kingdom, expanding the false kings realm. He needs only one more thing to be completely unstoppable."

Jason's reptilian eyes stayed stone firm on Glitch,deep and digging to make sure he told the truth.A look he used when he went to court in the dragon realm and forced his way in. "And what little trinket does rusty need?"

Glitch looked right at Jason. "You." It wasn't a question. "He needs Machinas power, and then his claim to the throne will be irrefutable. If he can kill you and take that power for himself, it will be over."

"Why the heck is it thought a weakling dragon has "power" of any sort?" He asked, motioning himself up and down,trying to understand.

"You killed Machina." Glitch looked at him soberly, all cockiness gone. "The power of the Iron King passes to the one who defeats him. At least, thats how I understand it. Thats why the false kings claim to the throne is a sham. Thats why he wants you so badly." He grinned then, evil and mischievous. "Thankfully, we're making it a bit difficult for him, both in the war effort, and now with you."
