She cuddled him silently before yawning after a while

William smiled and continue to cuddle with her.

After a while she fell asleep on his chest, she was exhausted

William smiled and gently gets up. He lays Maple down and wrote a letter for Maple to read when she gets up.

Dear Love,
By the time you read this I will be already gone and fighting in the war.
I will miss you dearly and I will be back. I will try and write to you when
I get the chance to. Maple if I don't come back alive once the war is over
I am sorry for breaking my promise to you in advance.

He places the letter on the nightstand next to the bed and walks to the door. He opens them and closed them gently not to wake Maple up. By the time it was morning William has gone to fight the war.

She woke up in the morning and seen he was gone, deep down she already knew but seen the letter, she picked 8t up and read it, it felt as if her heart broken into a million peaces but also a little hope, she looked around sadly and cried under her blankets (time skip?)

After three years the war is over and William's side won. William is finally going home to see Maple after three years. William has gained a scar(just the one over the right eye) over his right eye during the war.

Maple was busy working in the garden with some friendlier maids, she heard that she was gonna get divorced when he returned from the lack of bearing a child on his first night before he left,but she said nothing, she was busy helping around the kingdom

William smiled when he see's the kingdom. He continue to ride his horse that he gain during the war. He smiled as he went near his home.
