Jack was hoping that was how it would be. He just barely made it to his quarters, collapsing on the bed as the toxin blurried his vision. He dragged out the viles, only using one before passing out. He knew he needed to get the other to Ray.

Morning came as unceremoniously as ever, bright and sunny, the first light of rays reflecting off anything it could and blinding whomever it pleased. The birds were busy, chirping constantly to each other as they flit between the trees, sometimes diving down to attempt to get a worm.

Jack was awake as soon as warmth from the sun heated up the armor he still had on. He jumped up right away, and was soon getting ready.
'Oh gosh, how long did they wait? I should've been there for them, I'm such an idiot.' He thought to himself.

The outside morning may seem mockingly bright and cheerful for Jack. For Sam, it wax matching her carefree attitude. She was outside, watching the world wake up. A sketchbook in her lap, pen/pencil in hand, she decided to draw a bird that dared hop down and scavenge about a few feet away from her. Ryan, being the person he was, ran to Sam and scared the bird away. Sam huffs in annoyance and asks what he wanted, closing her sketchbook, her doodle only half done.
"I want to be with you." Ryan answers cheerfully, plopping down next to her and leaning heavily on her the way brothers can do.

Jack had to admit, it was mocking him; the morning. He knew he couldn't get Ray out alone, or without getting in major trouble. He knew his friend was already all for going against him, so he only knew two he could trust. Sam and Ryan.

Sam and Ryan. The two siblings who annoyed each other yet still somehow managed to get along. Ryan gets a hold of the book and then it was a game of keep away. Sam was shorter than Ryan so he had an unfair advantage. Sam decided to sit and wait until Ryan got bored. Ryan flips through and praises Sam's work. Once he had looked at everything she had drawn, Ryan gave it back.

Jack changed his things, less armor on, and went out to find the two. The vile was hidden against his hip.

Sam stops and greets Jack with a cheerful hello, having been on her way back to put her book and pen away. Ryan, seizing the opportunity, folds his arms on top of Sam's head, resting his own head on his arms. Sam turns and pokes Ryan in the ribs and he back off... For now.

Ryan notices that this had to be serious and changing how he acted accordingly to it.
"Sure. I can help. What's the problem?" Sam asks, walking alongside Jack.
"Ray seems to be better at most things than the two of us, so why not ask them to do it for you?" Ryan asks.
