Okay, this would cause blindness for an hour. Hexic tried his best to heal Sani before she left, get her warmer. His vision failed quickly, but he kept trying anyways. He did his best, then turned into a cat and clung to Corasi since he could no longer see anything.

She was still battling with whatever was happening to her head. "He wouldn't do that!" When Hexic started clinging to her it snapped her out of it.

"You okay?" He might not be able to see, but he could hear Corasi's pain.

"Y-yeah. I'm f-fine."

Hexic snuggled closer to Corasi. He wanted her to be okay. Okay and happy. Cats were the best way to do that.

She put her arm around Hexic. "Just a weird daydream..."

"Cat Hexic will make you feel better!" Hexic said, jumping up and licking Corasi's face until she smiled. Then he curled up in her lap and fell asleep.

She stayed awake, thinking about whatever just happened. Scias wouldn't do that. He just wouldn't. That wouldn't have come from my subconscious. Maybe it's from this? She touched the glowing button on her neck. It's hotter than it usually is. It may have come from this.

"CR-0, scout the surrounding area. I'll need aerials. I'll be near the quarry again, there's a inward rock face there that should give me enough cover for a breather and a nap."

"Understood. Rest well."
The robot chirped as he flew off, leaving the Daarizi alone to his thoughts.
