"How come they like you, I'm the one with animal skills!?!?" he asked, sitting next to her. The air became noticeably chillier....
"Hurry up slow poke!" she yelled from the kitchen, she had already started on a 3 course meal. "I read a lot of recipe books and watch a ton of cooking shows.... always being left with grandma." she pulled a pony tail off of her wrist and began to fix her hair as she waited for the oven to heat, and water to boil.
