All of the cans had labels on them, and Crystal waited anxiously in the trees, watching him. Wait ting for him to take them. Her tail was curled uncomfortably underneath her, so she shorted it unconsciously. It created a shift in the forest floor. She froze.

The puppy bolted forward at the sound. "Hey wait!" Adam said following it. "Onyx!" The puppy was barking at her, and attempted to bite her tail.

Crystal pulled back, and stuck her tail back under her. She shuffled backwards, away from both of them. Her eyes were wide, and nervous. She continued to shuffle backwards, trying to get away without scaring them.

The puppy followed, barking and growling at her. "Onyx! Here boy! Come back!" Adam yelled finding it hard to get through the brush.

Faster, and faster,she went from a backwards shuffle to a backwards walk. She took large steps, but kept her body close to the ground.

"There you are! You silly puppy!" The man said scooping up the barking dog. "Come on then, we need to get you fed. He didn't feel as lonely now though he still missed Crystal. "You know I really wish she would come back..."

Her eyes flowed brightly in the darkness. She covered her snout with her paws and they flashed, when the small dog landed a bite on her tail.

The man took the puppy back to his home setting it down in front of a plate of chili he had laied out. "There you go, eat up now."

Crystal stayed there, and squeezed her eyes shut. Why did the dog have to nearly reveal her?! It was too scary. Not knowing where the dog might be, she divided to stay where she was, and wait it out.
