i look around to ask someone where i can get help

There is a store on the far side of town that looks like a vet, but you can't be sure.

i rush over to the door still carrying the bird

You open the door and walk in, seeing dead animals laying everywhere.

i hurridly back out i needed to ask someone what was going on

When you try to get out, you find the door is locked.

i look around nervously to see if there is a back door

All you can see are mounds of dead animals and what looks like a light switch.

i nervously go to flip the switch

The lights flash on and you look around and see something huddled in a corner.
