"Certainly. Kochou would also be able to have a snack too," Sakura said to Evelyn.

"Right, I'll help you make sure she doesn't eat any flowers that could be harmful to a butterfly" Evelyn said, motioning for Sakura to follow her to the large garden.

"Technically, butterflies just drink the nectar from a flower. They don't actually eat the entire flower like a pest would," Sakura explained.

Blue dived under her bed back to the very corner where she could hardly be seen. "Great, just great." she muttered as she picked up Shadow.

"Yeah, but just in case, I don't want any spirit animals dying" Evelyn told her, entering the vast garden, and pointing out various plants.

Loud barking was heard from downstairs, and a wolf suddenly burst into the room. Kai instantly attacked, recognizing the crazed dark eyes only the dark cloak animals had. He stabbed the large wolf in the side, but it turned, sinking it's fangs into his arms. He grunted in pain, but finished the wolf off quickly. The man controlling the wolf instantly ran into the room, tackling Kai, knocking the knife away from him as he was forced to the ground, struggling to keep a large sword from driving into his neck.

Blue looked down at Shadow and then sighed. She dived out from under the bed, and picked up the steak knife on the floor. She ran forward thrusting the knife into the man's back and then drop the knife, her hand shaking. "W.. what did I do?" She said quietly.

Kai threw the guy off of him, panting heavily, holding his neck, which had a thin red line where he sword had begun to press into his skin. "Well, for starters, you just killed someone" he stated like it was no big deal. "Thanks, by the way" he said.

"I.. I did! He's dead by my hand!" Blue yelled. She quickly ran back to her hiding spot beneath her bed and began crying. "Shadow, I killed someone!" She said as she looked at the lifeless body on the floor.

"These creatures don't deserve to be cried over, they're horrible things who just love to make others suffer, it's what they do!" Kai said, not glancing back at the body. "Evelyn is going to kill me" He whispered to himself, feeling the red mark on his neck, and his somewhat bloody clothes.
