Venom poked his head out of his den. "You okay, Incendia?" he asked, though his past was starting to catch up with him. He smiled. "Come, come, Incendia, i would like some company tonight." he said softly.

Uru smiled at Swordfern, knowing how uncomfortable she was. "It's okay, Swordfern, you're safe with me, same with you, Canis." she said softly. Swordfern and Canis were like her pups to her, therefor, she treated them much like that. She looked around, her ears would swivel to every sound that sounded like a wolf in the trees.
(Are Canis and Swordfern talking about Meeko?)

Incendia smiled joyfully at him, lighting up like a Christmas tree.

"It'd be an honor, my Alpha. Being with you brings me the utmost joy," she confessed, running her side against his, sharing her warmth.

Sapphire walks around nervously not knowing what to do. She then held her head high.

(Yes, he hurt his paw on some ice.)

Canis whimpered. "Can we go home?"

Uru nuzzled Canis. "Not yet, Canis. Trust me, we'll protect you."she said soothingly. She lifted her head and stopped. "Swordfern, take Canis to the lone den just near the borders please..." she said, as her head swiveled toward her right. "Quickly." she added.
(Uru knows that Meeko is near now.)

Venom smiled and rubbed his cheek against Incendia's neck. He laid down. "Besides, i'm a cold bug." he joked. But it was true, many nights he would be cold, but tonight he would change that. "Thank you for accompanying me, Incendia. It helps me alot. It helps me stop my past from catching up." he said.

Skit walked through the forest, when suddenly she saw a dark wolf. She froze. "He-hello?" she called to the wolf, her voice cracked and seemed to be unused.

"You're welcome. It's not a problem at all," Incendia smiled gently before huffing, "Your past can take a hike, you've given enough to it already."

"Dang it!" The wolf cursed holding his paw up out of the snow. Blood dripped from it. Nasty. He limped to his makeshift den. Something wasn't right...it smelled differently. Just as he came to that conclusion a sharp pain shot up his side as something latched onto his shoulder. He helped as the beaver left a nasty gash in his shoulder. It's square teeth cut through him like butter. Nasty! Meeko growled biting the beaver and killing it. He needed to get out before the rest got to him. Limping as fast as his leg would allow he got away. There was too much blood. He had to stop it. Laying in the snow he put his injured shoulder down laying all his weight on it. God...everything went black just as the blood stopped.

Canis stopped smelling even more blood. "Uru...someone's hurt, real bad..."
