"I'm a jabberwocky. Guess which class," she said, wondering if Alderic would know. She continued walking, even slower than before. She hoped she was doing an okay job at keeping up the conversation. She had only made Alderic guess to give them something to talk about.

"I don't think it's any one persons fault. If choose, at the time, I thought it was all my fault. After all, I couldn't say or do anything to make her feel better. Now I think it's a combination of things. She was stressed and scared. You know what the village kids did to her. So don't blame yourself for what happened. Besides, she's strong, in sure she'll be fine," said Orion, trying to convince both A'ine and himself.

Alderic paused walking on his hands and lifted one arm up to leave his weight on one hand. "Well, if I'm right a jabberwocky is a kind of dragon." He paused talking and switched his weight baring hand. "And that would put you in bird class with Jora and Orion." He pushed up on his hand in a back flip and ended up standing next to her.

A'ine shook her head. "No you don't get it." She sighed. "No one will get it." She thought about A'eda'n and knew he'd listen but wouldn't get it either. "You don't have first hand of what Jora went through. And she went through it alone." She shook her head. "Some how, she got some of my memories the first time and got a double dose of kids laughing at someone because of their looks." She shook her head. "It tortured her. And it's all my fault for just deciding to jump aboard and try and fix everything."

"Yes, and you're in what class again?" Ember asked. She was glad that Allergic was doing most of the talking.

Orion realized that A'ine want going to believe him if he said it wasn't her fault. "So by trying to fix it you messed it up even more? But you learned from your mistake, right? So next time it happens, you'll have a better idea of what to do."

Alderic grinned widely. "Flaming Pegesus, Equine." He said pushing his glasses back on his face. "So, you having fun with school?" He asked putting his hands on the back of his neck.

A'ine shook her head. "You don't get it. I have no idea how I can do this and I didn't just 'mess it' up. Jora got hurt very badly. I messed the whole thing up more then anything else I've ever done." She sighed and waved her hand in the air. "Forget about it. I don't know why I even put all this on you." She put a smile on and slowed down to walk in between Ember and Alderic so that Orion couldn't walk next to her.

Ember shrugged. "It's only been one day," she said, turning to look at A'ine. Ember wondered what she had been talking to Orion about. She turned to look at Orion, but he was still ahead of them so she could only see the back of his head.

Orion stopped walking, waiting for the others before he countinued walking. He thought about what A'ine had said. So she blames herself. Geez, why can't I comfort people? He turned to the others, smiling and asked, "Did you like your classes yesterday?" It was the only subject he could think of.

Alderic nodded at Ember and laughed to Orion. "You mean class. A'ine and I are both equine." He shrugged. "It was okay. We wrote a lot and stuff." He said. He flipped over onto his hands then back to his feet like a cartwheel.

A'ine smiled and nodded. "It was good." She didn't really feel like talking anymore. She felt like a traitor for thinking she helped Jora but only made it worse.

Orion glanced toward A'ine, wishing he could say something to her, but she obviously hadn't wanted Alderic or Ember to hear it. He decided to let the conversation die for the moment. No one except possibly Alderic seemed to want to talk.

"It was fine. But it's my first time at school, so it's strange," Ember said.

A'ine nodded agreeing with Ember. Her smile faded a little as she looked blankly ahead. She just wanted yesterday to not have happened.

Alderic finally noticed that no one else wanted to talk really and that they all seemed kind of down. "You guys don't want to talk, do you?" He asked it almost like a statement. He rubbed the back of his neck and thought for a bit. "Well, one more question. What're you guys doing for free time this afternoon?"

Orion shrugged. "No idea. Why do you ask? Do you have plans?" he asked, feeling slightly uncomfortable. It wasn't like he didn't like silence. I hope A'ine's alright.... She shouldn't blame herself for what happened. He glanced over at A'ine.

Ember was content to sit back and listen to the two boys talk. Orion's side of the conversation seemed slightly forced, especially compared to yesterday. A'ine was also unusually quiet, but Ember decided not to press.

A'ine tilted her head at Orion. "Oh really? Jora will be disappointed. She thought she was going to have two swim teachers." She said with a sarcastic flare hoping to make him remember.

Alderic burst out laughing and spoke when he started relaxing a bit. "You guys are going swimming later? Sounds like fun!"
