"Hold on," Jameson sits down on a chair in Alrya's living room, and then takes out the paper. "Wait wait wait, this seems like a very important thing, and so I'm gonna grab some snacks before this is read. Snacks always bring good luck." Alyra says, hurrying to the kitchen, grabbing a jar of cookies, and then hurrying back to the living room. She sets the jar on the coffee table and then sits in a chair, snacking on some cookies. "Ok, now you can read it." She declares. "Ok..." Jameson says, his face going pale once again, and then reads the note.
If you want your family back, meet us in the abandoned building northeast outside the Demon forest. Bring no weapons. And just so you know, the place is warded against magic. That includes shifting, potions, and any powers that you or your friends may have, so no funny business.

"Huh. Interesting. I didn't expect them to be a part of this, but thinking back on it, it makes perfect sense." She shrugged. "I didn't expect that to be what worried you so much. Anyway, what's the plan? We obviously can't just leave Alyra's family in the hands of them." On a whole, she looked entirely unbothered by the note.

Oliver

He fidgeted with his hands for a bit before speaking. "They seem to have this whole thing planned out. We couldn't even hide around the building waiting for you to say something because they'd know we're there. It's possible they're bluffing but from the way they were talking to you, it doesn't seem like it. The only thing we could possibly call them out on is if the magic truly is warded there." He sighed.

Alrya drops the cookie she was holding after Jameson finishes reading the note, and sits there in shock, not able to move or speak. "What are you two on about?" Jameson asks, completely confused how they could be so calm about the situation. "Do you not know what these people are capable of? The only reason the lot of you aren't dead is because you were on the property of the most powerful vampire coven on earth." Jameson stands up. "I hadn't even read that part yet. I thought that they were just rogue Ziran, but now I want no part in this. You are on your own Alyra, chicks are not worth my life." Jameson says, dropping the paper on the table and heading towards the door to leave.

Layla

"You know, halfway through it I kind just accepted I was gonna die. Plus, being calm in a situation where others would not be is great. You act as a rock for them, and you can logically and rationally think about the situation." She watched Jameson going to the door. "But, I must say, this is quite the dangerous situation you've gotten yourself into, Alyra."

Oliver

"Plus, you aren't on your own. We'll help in the best way we can." He put his hand on Alyra's shoulder in an attempt to comfort her. He picked up the dropped cookie and placed it on the table. Though I truly don't know if we can help.

"This is not good, this is so not good." Jameson says, and starts pacing around the room because he doesn't want to leave and look like a wimp. Meanwhile Alyra had still not moved at all, in shock about the situation. When she finally comes to her senses, she promptly stands up and grabs a notebook out of her bag, scribbling something down.
"What are you writing?" Jameson asks, peeking over her shoulder, but Alyra says nothing, just continues writing things down. "Are you just copying what the note said?" He asks, and she only nods to show that she's paying attention to anything other than her train of thought.

Layla

"She's probably trying to break down the note into more manageable chunks to figure out how to deal with the situation. It's also possibly she's trying to look for a secret message or something." Layla watched as Alyra rewrote the note.

Oliver

"Either are very possible." He watched her continue to write over her shoulder. "I'm sure when she's done she'll tell us what she's doing." While he had the opportunity, he grabbed two cookies from the jar and gave one to his sister.

"If they kidnapped Alyra's family, and they were so serious about her interrogation, this could mean an all-out war," Jameson continues pacing the space in front of the door, running his hands through his hair. "Of course I had to end up on the side against the Skygger! Just my luck!" He sits on the floor and rests his head in his hands and elbows on his knees. Meanwhile, Alyra is looking up a map on her phone and finding the coordinates of the abandoned building that the note spoke of, then running through the note again to try and find any hidden clues, but there are none that she can find.

(Y'all this is so random but I got bored and I was messing around on the generator and I made this and I thought it was so cute because of Alyra's deerfox costume! Here it is just because I thought it was really adorable:

(I feel bad to do this, but how do we feel about just scrapping this rp? I might re-make it eventually because I spent WAY too much time making that map to just let it go un-used, but I think it's probably best this way the to try and keep a rp going that's already dead. Maybe I'll plan the storyline out better with the next one )
