He stood in the doorway, staring at her for quite some time, a pained expression on his face as he finally made his way to sit by her bed. He couldn't lose another one...not like this...

The heart monitor made steady sounds as Raven lay motionless on the bed, looking peaceful as she "slept"

Ash took one of Raven's hand into his. "Raven," he said softly. "Please, come back to us...we need you...I need you..."

Raven didn't respond nor react to that for the moment.. the most that happened that was for a moment her hand twitched as if she were trying to say in her own way that she wasn't going to give up yet.

"Look, I know I hurt you, but it was to protect you. But I guess it might all be in vai if you don't wake up..."

Raven couldn't hear him- but internally she could feel someone was there for her.. someone who wanted her alive.. someone who cared for her.. Although it took a few more moments or waiting Raven was able to force herself into waking up. She felt someone was holding her hand but she was in too much pain to look over to see who it was. " Whose there...? " she asked softly.

"Raven? Oh, thank goodness! I thought you were a goner," he said, leaning over so he could hug her gently

" Oww " Raven said weakly, even the slightest touch made her remember just how much pain she was in. " Ash..? What are you doing here..? " She sounded extremely confused. " Also.. why do you look so sick? Are you okay? "

"I came here to see you," he said, sitting bak in his seat. "Someone pushed you off a cliff...either that or it was a suicide attempt." he completely ignored the last two questions

Raven was too drugged up to even notice at the moment. " I didn't try to kill myself.. at least I don't think I did, I can't remember.. " She said in a tired tone " Why did you come to see me if you hate me...? Shouldn't you be off doing.. something? "
