She nods.

All good prison breaks need a plan. Surely at least a few had seen them in films so many times--learning the guard rotation, bribing somebody for blueprints of the sewer system, getting your girlfriend to smuggle in a file so you can get through the bars of your window. One good plan, perfectly executed, thats all it would take to get them out of here.

But neither Jack nor Victoria had nothing. There was no guard rotation here, the monsters in their pinstriped suits seemed to patrol when and where they liked. The sewer system just led farther down toward the abyss, dumping its filth in the center of the earth. And even if Jack had a girlfriend, which he didn't and probably never would, nobody was allowed personal visits or letters. They didn't even have windows. None of the things anyone has seen on-screen was going to work in Furnace, but that shouldn't really have been a surprise. I mean, television isnt real life.

Rhia can contact someone. Apparently.

Then again, there was Nicote. The kid was literally the closest thing to the "girlfriend sneaking file in" thing.

Then yet again, Nicote was currently a blubbering mess who had to literally be dragged eerywhere.......Though he would probably be willing to indirectly help, although when it came down to it hed probably put himself (and probably his little group of friends) first.

Riley drew on the palm of Shade's hand, doodling random things that came to mind. Riley had tried to forget what had happened with the one kid who had been dragged away at night, tried to cease to remember what had been done, but it was hard. Riley inwardly beats himself up, telling himself that he could have done something for that guy, even if it hadn't been in the form of saving him from the beasts. He could have tried to be friends or at least stood up for him that one time he saw him be bullied. Riley pauses in his doodling to regain control of his emotions and wild imaginations.
He couldn't have done anything and he would never be able to. He didn't think that he could escape, so he didn't try to plan one. He did make a promise, however foolish it may be, to himself that he would try to help those that were being bullied.

Shade let Riley doodle as he pleased, watching with some form of fascination over the things human minds could think of and make reality on a solid surface.

His tail twitched, wings shifting weight a little on his back.
