She nodded, coming over next to D, taking the sponge and started washing the next dirty dish

D made sure to give her enough room and not let her wings or lower half get in the way.

Kate didn't really mind. In fact, she kept forgetting that D was half dragon

D used to like forgetting what she herself was...but then when she tried to behave like people it..wouldn't give her anything good in that cell. So now she never could forget,especially how her tongue ran into her fangs every time she spoke english and it reminded her of what she was.

Well, what she was wasn't bad. She was just different from everyone else

And that made her think it was bad,because she was different and not what others thought of as normal.And supposedly,since many didn't believe in dragons,she wasn't even supposed to exist or be possible.

Kate had stopped believing in dragons as a kid, but when she first saw D she wasn't exactly sure what to feel. At first she thought that D was an animatronic

D had seen the animatronics and for the first time thought,since they where a bit different than people,that they where different like her and accepted.But soon she'd figured out they where animatronics.When she'd seen Kate she'd not thought anything of that sort,used to seeing humans a lot.But she had thought her a dream with how kind she had been despite how scared she was.

Kate was glad that D had been in the same shift as her

And D glad to have Kate in the same,as people called it a,shift as well.
