Katherine blushed lightly. "Sorry..." she whispered, sitting back up obediently. She slowly relaxed as he rubbed her back. Her cheeks flushed a deep red when she felt his hand going down farther and farther. She was too nervous to do anything, only getting more embarrassed when he pulled away like that and she saw how red he was. "It's okay..." she whispered. She looked over at him. Wanting his hand rubbing the back of her neck and back. "Kurt..." she whispered, her hand gently touching his shoulder, slowly making its way down his arm. Wanting to at least hold his hand.

Kurt was way too embarrassed to do anything but drive. He jumped a little when he felt her gentle touch. "Y-Yes Katherine?" He stammered wondering what she was going to say. He shifted his arm with her hand on it a bit as he continued to drive.

Katherine frowned when he jumped at her touch. "Will...Will you at least hold my hand? she asked quietly. She looked at him with a hopeful look in her eyes, wanting to feel his touch again badly. She glanced at the road before looking back at him, wondering where they were going.

Kurt sighed relieved. He didn't hesitate to lace his fingers into hers "As you wish." He said smiling with a small glance toward her, lifting her hand to plant a small kiss on the back of it before resting his arm on his leg. "I really didn't mean to do that to you, I was paying attention to the road." He said quickly feeling the need to try and explain to her. He was disgusted with himself even if it was an accident.

Katherine smiled when he laced his fingers with hers, blushing when he kissed her hand. She sighed softly. "It's okay, I know you hadn't meant to..." she whispered, gently rubbing his hand a little. Her hand brought up his, kissing each of his knuckles gently. "Your so sweet..." she whispered. Hugging his hand close before giving it one last kiss and setting it down. Not wanting to upset him by distracting him again.

Kurt let out a slow breath relief flooding him again when she understood that it was an accident. He chuckled as Katherine kissed each of his knuckles. "What makes you say that right now?" He asked not getting why she called him sweet just then. He turned off the major highway to a two way winding one. He could see the city's lights in the rear view mirror.

Katherine smiled now that he seemed more relaxed. She blushed. "Because your making me feel amazing and your taking me on a picnic for a perfect date and you have a surprise for me. How is that not sweet." she whispered with a smile. Kissing his hand again. She looked to the road, not sure where they were going.

Kurt smiled a bit more chuckling shaking his head. If this was being sweet then Katherine really was never treated right. "I just was trying to make your day, my beautiful Katherine." He said rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb. "Okay I want you to close your eyes now. We're getting close and I want it to be a surprise where we're going." He said quietly glancing in the mirror again the city looking smaller.

Keda was very grateful for Julie's help with the few projects she wanted to finish up. She glanced at her watch and sighed sadly, it was still hours before Will was going to be home. She said goodbye to Julie when they had to turn different directions to get back to their apartments. Keda glanced down at her ring again as she walked. Julie had nearly had a heart attack when she had seen it. The thought made her chuckle.

Katherine smiled, blushing at his words. "See. Sweet..." she whispered. She had a small little smile on her face before closing her eyes. She had no idea where they were going. Her head rested back against the seat as she relaxed into the feeling of his thumb rubbing the back of her hand. She loved when he did that. She wondering where he was driving to.

(I don't really know what to do with Will so I'm going to keep him out until I can do something other than work with him if you don't mind.)

Kurt glanced at her to make sure her eyes were closed. The road started winding up a hill. "So Katherine, what would you like to do for thanksgiving?" He asked to fill the silence and distract her. He wasn't sure what he would want to do. He definitely wanted to cook for her but didn't know about going back to visit his hometown.
