Fae's ears laid back sadly when Shadow left. Maybe she'd said something wrong? She looked at Aqua a little worried, kind of disregarding her question. "Do you think he'll be okay out there all by himself? I didn't annoy him did I?" Fae hated to think that she might've driven him away.
She couldn't really put her finger on it, but Fae felt a strong pull between herself and Shadow. Fae found herself wanting to know all about him, wanting to see what his powers were. It wasn't just that either; Fae was really concerned for Shadow's wellbeing, even though she knew he'd probably be okay on his own. Why did she suddenly care so much about a nixi she didn't even really know yet?
Then she thought about the other dark-looking nixi's comment, when he said that Shadow had an admirer. Could that truly be what this was? No... Fae wouldn't believe that she could have a crush on a nixi that, not only did she know nothing about, but who had also been a bit rude to her.
But what other explanation was there to be served for the small aching in her chest?...

"Ch-cheer up Fae," Kepi said upon seeing the other nixi's sad reaction. "He doesn't seem very social." Kepi was amazed that Fae even got that far with Shadow. She turned to Aqua upon hearing her question. "Ummm... I-I-i think we can sleep here. No one will mind I-If... even if we can't." Kepi looked around and noticed that their numbers were dwindling. She hoped that everyone who left could find there way back tomorrow.
Lighting struck outside and Kepi jumped. Despite being an Electric nixi, she hated storms. She nervously asked Aqua and Fae "C-could I sleep with you guys. Please?" She added in for good measure.

((I can't remember if Kepi told Fae her name, so I'll just pretend she did ^^))

Fae perked up a bit at Kepi's attempt to cheer her up. Fae smiled at her, happy to talk to a nice nixi. "I don't mind if you sleep with us." She turned to the blue nixi next to her. "Do you Aqua?" She glanced around the den. Surely there was a place to sleep- aha! Fae saw a small area of the den that had pillows and blankets, and... "Wow, they even put in a hammock here!" Fae said with glee. She excitedly flew over to the hammock, her wings buzzing. "It was nice of them to remember this..." She looked to Aqua and Kepi. "Flying Zolnixis are...kinda weird. We have this fear of sleeping on the floor -- I guess it has something to do with always wanting to be in the air. So we all sleep in hammocks." She smiled wide as she nestled herself down into the hammock. "When I came in here earlier to rest, I didn't notice this. It was hard for me to sleep on the floor..."

"Oh!" Aqua exclaimed. "That's nice to know! Didn't know about that ground fear thing! I remember there was a flying nixi at our hospital once.... But she grew used to the floor.... I guessed who raises you also affects the outcome, huh?" The water nixi replied cheerfully, grabbing a pillow and blanket. "Kay guy! Night!" With that, the water nixi closed her eyes and slept, with soft snores able to be heard.

Thorn watched the other's get ready for bed. He walked away near the edge of the forest. He watched it, as though waiting for something. Thorn sighed sadly. He hated his life...he hated how we made friends and then hurt them...
He turned his head and looked at the others...soon he might hurt them...he barely knew them but he felt like they where friends already...
He hated what he has to do...

Angelica timidly walked over to the pillows and blankets and grabbed some. She put them in a corner. She looked up at Thorn and sighed. Why does he always do something like that before he sleeps? She thought.
She gently tapped the pillow on the floor and smiled. So soft...no blood in sight as well! And no bones that prick me! She smiled happly again.

Montague left the training den and made his way to the cave he was staying at. When he reached it he saw a tiny figure standing at the enterence. "Deedee? How long have you been waiting for me?" He asked as the blue and grey hatchling rushed over to him.
"Since Miss Lolli left, she only stayed about half an hour." The girl replied, sticking close to him.
"What? She was supposed to watch you until I got back, why did she leave early?" His question was answered when they entered the cave. The ground was muddy, the walls and roof had sharp spikes jutting out and all their belongings (however few they had) were either soaked or had been impaled on the rocks.
Montague wanted to be angry but he couldn't, not with those big blue eyes looking up at him.
"Deedee, that was the last babysitter in town." He wandered around the cave, assessing the damage. Luckily everything they owned could be easily replaced. Dew Drop (or Deedee, as she was nicknamed) pranced around after her guardian, jumping in the puddles and over the misplaced rocks she had made.
"I know, Mo-mo, I think that was a new record for running off a sitter." She reached under a blanket and brought out a waterproof bag. "I saved the library books though." Ever since Montague found the young Dew Drop starving and alone he took her in and taught her the value of a book.
He gave her a worried look and sat her down. "I told you to be careful about using your earth abilities, you know what happened last time."
Dew Drop jumped around excitedly, ignoring her guardian's serious tone. "But I don't have to be careful anymore. Now there is no one to look after me and I get to stay with you, Mo-mo! You can protect me like before."
He sighed. "You can come with me tomorrow but you have to promise to be good." She nodded happily before letting out a big yawn. "Bed time, little one. We'll have to sleep outside tonight and let the cave dry."
They settled near the entrance and Montague laid down, curling himself around the hatchling to keep her warm.
"Night, Mo-mo." She whispered softly as she fell asleep.
"Sweet dreams, Deedee." He whispered back and drifted off after her.

(Wow, I did not notice how long that was until I posted it. On another note: I'm not sure if I want Dew Drop to be a main character or not but if I decide yes then I'll make a character sheet for her.)

((Someone needs to say it's morning so we can all wake up, because I'm assuming that everybody went to sleep... So someday reserve a spot to start it up again and either write about them being the first to wake up or something happening during the night. 030))
