"What do you want?" Knuckles growled, coming off cold even though he didn't nessecarily mean to. He stepped to the side a bit so that he wasn't cornered against the wall.

Knuckles looked taken aback. Does she really mean that? He wondered, inspecting her a moment, then made a short noise. It's ligit. He smirked. "It's fine. You arn't the only one. Trust me," He said, glancing to the side.

"Don't mention it. Seriously. Don't," Knuckles grunted as he limped past her, headed towards the front door. "Welp. G'night," He said, slipping outside. He had never found sleeping indoors very comfortable; He much prefered resting in the open air. It was... reassuring.
